I am going backwards to the way I received these insights. But that is the way they are to be given, so I accept that.
This is my personal reading. I am going to do the Universal Reading from the same deck.
Loving Words from JESUS by Doreen Virtue
With beautiful artwork by Greg Olsen
These cards come with a scripture verse and picture of Jesus. *Please note that, while she used the King James Version, she did alter is some and not use the full scripture, only part. As always, symbols are open to interpretation. Guidance of the Holy Spirit is suggested.
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. (Matthew 7:7) Jesus knocking at the door with no knob. A brilliant golden sunrise is seen behind Jesus’ torso.
*I chose a card from this deck a week ago and it was this same card. What door would I knock on, if I could? I have a witness of Christ and I have a relationship with Jesus. Which is what the picture usually signifies. Can we not think that there are other things we would be allowed to understand or bring about if we only believed in ourselves?
*I would want the door of the Rapture. The Rapture was not spoken of much over the years in the churches I attended. I have come to understand it as the time when those who receive Christ will be lifted up. Mythology has brought it to mean a separation from those who do not accept Christ where the righteous are protected and the sinful are cursed and tormented, or at least abandoned.
*I see it quite differently. First, Christ is the Whole of Humanity, not any given part. So the Rapture will mean all of us going someplace, and since time and space are not eternal, this must refer to our comprehension or how we think about things. I wish to push the edges of the human psyche to understand the Rapture, which I believe to be a united consciousness among those in the flesh and those without that understands they are The Son of God, as a Whole. And that what God has joined together no human may put asunder (separate). Rapture also includes the sense of Bliss or Joy to me. I stand at the door and knock.
*I see the sunrise suggesting a new day for humanity. I will note that the same brilliance shines in the window of the door that Jesus is knocking on. Suggesting that you and I have the light within us that Jesus sees very clearly. He is just helping us see it also, not unlike those who can see auras around the physical body, we have that light that many, especially near death experiencers associate with Jesus.
I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. (Matthew 28:20) Jesus sitting on the hill looking over Jerusalem.
*Isn’t this a lovely compliment to the card previous? I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Nothing separates us from one another. Not from Jesus, your parents, your best friend, not even from the one you consider your worst enemy.
*When Jesus sat on that hill, it is recorded that he looked upon Jerusalem and with great compassion said in his heart, “How I would have gathered you like a hen gathers her chicks, but you would not have it.”. Mythology has given a Super Hero concept of this and suggested Jesus would protect everyone if they would let him. Rather I suspect that this is the concept that we are all one. He would have taught us the understanding of our unity and that there is no need to fear, as we are all one in Christ. The leaders of the church, at the time and now, could not get past their personal biases of separation and “see” what he was saying.
Ask, and it shall be given to you. (Matthew 7:7)
*A three year old boy examining something in his hand while Jesus sits beside him smiling in a lovely greenhouse. Red blooms to the right above the head of Jesus.
*This third card seems to repeat the message of the first, but in another way. Ask and it shall be given to you. Perhaps the child suggests that we likewise ask about anything and everything. There is a huge attitude among the living, and perhaps those not in form at the moment as well, that the answers just cannot be known. I take this scripture seriously. I believe there are things that can be known. Simple truths that humanity likes to complicate.
*Red suggests love, blooms suggest abundance. Since I have let go of the need to have something or someone in the world tell me how things are (noted especially in 2006 when I changed my name legally to Christa-Ann Faith Godsdaughter), I have been granted many magnificent insights to what the world is and what it is not. For this I am grateful. In my heart I take this card as affirmation that I am free to ask questions in the awe and innocence of a child and I will not be rebuffed or made to feel ashamed.
Be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. (Matthew 9:22)
*Jesus sitting on a white stone ledge that brings to mind “the woman at the well”. Beside him is a young woman with her had on Jesus’ wrist as his arms rest on his thighs. Between them, in the distance is a winding path. The tree they sit under, may be an olive tree and from Jesus’ shoulders upward seems to be a white pillar. His robe consists of white on the left shoulder, violet purple on his right. And a cloth, the size of a lap blanket covers his lap and left leg, part of it resting on the floor. It seems to have a golden boarder with golden stars in the material.
*This card makes my heart sing! Repeated imagery for me of the hen gathering her chicks, as I consider being of good comfort. Faith: A big word. But combined with the words “has made you whole” means the world to me. My mind is playing with the imagery of faith allowing me to recognize my connection with all of humanity as the Christ and this brings me great joy.
*I do not know about you, but I do not want anyone left out. I want us altogether before God. The “woman at the well” was one that Jesus brought into his intimate circle at a time when she was thought to be an outcast from the society he was born into. He left no one out of his compassionate concern; the lepers, the money changers, the laborers, the prostitutes.
*Her affection and familiarity for Jesus is shown in the way she touches his hand. The journey may seem to meander, but it has a destination and the symbolism of the olive tree suggest an “end of conflict or approval of a higher power”. We are not on this journey alone.
*The white robe on the right shoulder suggests to me the innocence of humanity. The violet purple suggests the royalty or “divine calling” of humanity. I am not certain of the meaning of the red cloth with gold embroider, but it could embrace life (signified by the color red) and its connection to those things of the Spirit (signified by the gold, suggesting great value, and the stars, suggesting the heavens) that lift humanity out of the world of chaos and into their true identity. The size of the red cloth suggests something that applies to each and every one of us.
Summary
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Act, as if you have the answer, according to the knowledge that you have, and you will receive a recollection of what you already are.
You have always been a part of the whole and will be, even after this world ends.
Have the wonder of a child and do not be afraid to ask questions. The Universe smiles on this.
Smile, if only on the inside, because of your faith you are able to see Christ, The Whole.
I pray this has served you. The Universal Reading has been done and will be up soon.
Till next time, God bless, Namaste~
