Day 12 URTEXT ACIM pg. 19
Just because “nature abhors a vacuum,” which is true enough, it does not follow that “a vacuum is filled with hellfire.” Nothing is gained by frightening yourself, and its is very destructive.

*Just, read this again please. How often do we get out the whip and attack ourselves. This attack was done out in the open in generations past. Today it takes often takes (though not always) as covert expression. Jesus attempts to call on common sense, i.e. “not”. What if we might instead think that this “vacuum” he refers to is filled with compassion, education, and restoration?

Miracles need freedom from fear. Part of their Atonement value involves just that.

*Freedom from fear. I have to admit when I speak with anyone, I tend to be in a state of fear that I will say something that will offend them. Today I find myself saying whatever is there, anyway. I wonder if there are not differing forms of fear? I am working on this. I want to maintain my integrity and personal persona, but I do not wish to trash anyone in any way.
*I find myself not willing to trash myself either, and this means I may speak what I sense, while knowing in my heart it is not real, or something I need to fear.

*If we cannot say this is an error, or wrong, how can we be allowed to undo the original error? Spiritualists and some who follow ACIM put love up as if that is all there is to see while they still live in the realm of the error. This is not what the course teaches, although you can take an individual sentence or even paragraph here and there and come to that conclusion. It is important that we back up and see the big picture. It may look frightening, but we can have the inner knowledge that it is not real and that all is, indeed, well.

Note that the word “atone” really means “undo.”

*Undo the damage caused by the confusion of The Son, that has left us all with the primal guilty conscience. Now, is there not freedom in this?

*Remember Jesus does not need the atonement, because he put the situation into place  base in the first place and set up the context of right and wrong, in his attempt to help us and fix things for us. Have compassion for him, and his circumstance, as you want others to have compassion for you. None of this is real. Yet, identifying the source of the confusion is vital to its resolution.

*Do not think that I am getting my jollies by pointing my finger at Jesus. No way would I choose that situation. I have had my words with him, not because of that error, but because of the way he let this book be written. And the confusion of the pronouns and to whom he is referring. That said, I also know that he can only give people what they are willing to receive and in the 60’s when this was being brought forth this was huge and has impacted humanity for the good for these nearly 60 years.

*Besides, Jesus knew that there would be a few who would read it and be able to decipher the code. I believe that Helen was told that there would be about 15 that would “really get it” or something to that effect. I am just putting my insights out there and let the world do what they will with it. I continually seek for understanding by any method the Holy Spirit sees fit to give it to me.

The purpose of the Atonement is to restore everything TO you.

*To remind you who you truly are as creations of The Omnipotent (all powerful), Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipresent (in all things, everywhere) God. Meaning He can only give you of what He, Himself, is.

(That is, to restore the awareness. Later clarifcation.)

*Note from Bill. (I have purposely not corrected the spelling errors of this rough draft by the scribes.)

You had everything when you were created, just as everyone did.

*Once you have an understanding of this, you want to realize that “you have that understanding and it is truth”. However, there are other “parts of you, a part of the Whole Christ”, that are those you see around you, that do not have that witness yet.

*While here, in the illusion, you are able to be affected or feel a result of their forgetfulness. These affects could be financially, emotionally, physically, or any way that pertains to the senses of this world. This means that everything is not completely resolved until we all/each “get it”. However, knowing the atonement has already taken place, through our faith in this truth. We may be a light for others to find it for themselves.

*This does not mean that you are not going to see good results from it. Still, others do have to move through in their own time, so it may seem like there are losses as relationships perhaps become more divided or even lost. Knowing separation is not a true principle helps soften this for the one who recognizes his own atonement.

Till next time, God bless, Namaste~

(* Remember I claim no special gifts, they are just my thoughts after a lifetime of trying to understand the will of God, as Jesus taught it, and share it with others from my place of understanding. My comments are as follows: (*…) With the text being in bold print. Crossed out words and phrases from the Urtext did not copy here, so they are made mention to in my comments, if they appear in the transcript. Please bring the Spirit with you to the reading.)
