When I first heard of this I was startled to say the least. But is that not the norm in the public domain these days?
I wrote a lengthy essay and have sat on it for a few days.
I do not wish to find fault with good intentions.
Today I found a short way to give my response.
This is a quote of hers that I picked up on one of the pages I follow:

My response, as a student of ACIM for five years:
There is a collective consciousness that has influence as well, as well as, the influence that of the creator of this illusion. So I would have to, respectfully, disagree.
The again, perhaps this is hidden within the meaning of her statement? I am grateful she is doing what she believes is correct.
I suspect humanity has a bit more work to do in the sphere of time. The identity of the individual must be acknowledged and then the individual identity of The Son must be seen and forgiven for a confusion of thought. This does not have to be a long process.
Then we may speak as a whole. Otherwise, we simply have another form of a few thinking they know what is best for all.
I have to say that her candidacy will bring A Course In Miracles to the awareness of more people. And that cannot be a bad thing.
