Saving Christ; It’s in the Cards In Full, In The Archive Saving Christ
How embarrassed I was to discover that I had not put up the last chapter and three appendages to the book!
It has been an emotional year for me.
Learning the things I have has taken me places I never would have dreamed.
One thing for sure, I discovered that, in the spiritual world, it is truly possible to have still waters in one’s soul and core, while winds and storms fly about us and try to break us down.
This is not an uncommon metaphor, I know. It just struck me different this year and when I think of the river that looks so smooth on the top and is full of life and motion, even turmoil underneath, well, to recognize the opposite can be true in the spiritual walk had significance for me.
I am beginning to feel like I have my feet under me and that I will be able to move forward in a positive way again. For a time, with my move to Washington and back it was rough going. I learned so much.
And then being back in South Dakota had its surprises!
I was able to complete a 12,500 word novella before New Year’s that brought me significant relief. I will be sharing that soon.
For now, may I share a gift for the New Year? It is a re-write of Jesus Loves Me, a song that is very special to me. Within this revision is the world as I understand it today. God bless and may we all have a marvelous year!
Jesus Loves Me, revised
(6 verses)
Jesus loves us, He who lived
In Christ’s Consciousness
Release to give
Jesus loves The Whole you see
Sent to bless both you and me
Yes, Jesus loves us
Yes, Jesus loves us
Yes, Jesus loves us
The Spirit tells me so
Jesus loves us, perfectly
Giving love unconditionally
Sent to show us God’s Own Son
In the mirror, see the Holy One
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Spirit tells me so
Not for you He came to die
But to reveal and intensify
Compassion for the new-born god
Christ alone on this world trods
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Spirit tells me so
We would waken, gent-e-ly
God’s One Son
Who’s you and me
Free Him from the bonds of guilt
Hold Him up on Nature’s quilt
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Spirit tells me so
Set Him free so all may see
God revealed eternally
No where can one look and find
God’s love lacking, we are purified.
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Spirit tells me so
Freeing one will free the whole
Scientific physics tells us so
Lets join hands and celebrate
The Son’s birth, to His heavenly state
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Spirit tells me so
