My thoughts* on ACIM Lesson 243, full lesson proceeds comments.

Please forgive me. It occurred to me that I said I would do the lessons here and I have not been consistent. I will do my best to do so here forward.

My apology is sincere and all else is coincidental. I felt the photo would share perhaps many reflections on the idea of judgment in the world today. I hope it is not confusing to the lesson. Blessings to all. debi.)

.
Today I will judge nothing that occurs.
.
1. I will be honest with myself today.
.
²I will not think that I already know what must remain beyond my present grasp.
.
³I will not think I understand the whole from bits of my perception, which are all that I can see.
.

⁴Today I recognize that this is so.
.
⁵And so I am relieved of judgments that I cannot make.
.
⁶Thus do I free myself and what I look upon, to be in peace as God created us.
.
2. Father, today I leave creation free to be itself.
.
²I honor all its parts, in which I am included.
.
³We are one because each part contains Your memory, and truth must shine in all of us as one.
.
* Please understand that this is possible ONLY because we have forgiven Christ as a WHOLE for the impossible momentary belief in separation from God.
.
* The Holy Spirit is to be the judge of all and all that He sees as REAL is Christ’s innocence. Anything else is our error of belief in separation from God.
.
* Initially, my personal challenge with this lesson is that the Holy Spirit spent decades showing me that we all messed up and it was not just me who needed to own that. This is from my unbalanced standard of who to forgive that I accepted as a child and it was not myself. Consequently, I put myself in positions to be taken advantage of and used regularly.
.
* I see here though that I am not being asked to ignore the ego tricksters but to overlook them or look beyond them and know that peace is how the Son was created and in peace is where He still remains.
.
* It is up to me to see this with the vision that the Holy Spirit provides, which is more akin to knowledge than to the sight of the body’s eyes and comes through the acceptance of the Atonement and God’s reality.
.
* This is how I am able to travel and experience the nature that I love so much because my mind is not full of “what if’s” that being among strangers (anyone really) can bring. My reasoning is that if something should happen it is due to the needs of the Universal Plan and something that needs to be learned by the experience by me or those who will be aware of it. It is a plan that is bigger than my understanding so I do not need to worry about it though I am not foolish or dare-devilish in my behaviors and I retain healthy boundaries and precautions. And above all I do my best to listen to the Holy Spirit. Even half a thought from Him needs to be followed as I found out recently the hard way. Lol
.
* He is flowing through me and to ignore or not take seriously a prompting will lead me to have to laugh at myself for not following through. It requires being present and willing to explore His subtle suggestions whether I am in agreement or “used” to them or not. This is why a good sense of humor is helpful here and now. Haha.
.
* This last statement is significant to me, “³We are one because each part contains Your memory, and truth must shine in all of us as one.” It identifies God, the Father as the glue that makes us One. His memory MUST shine in all of us as ONE.
* THIS is the objective and goal of Jesus from everything that I have studied and experienced. WITHOUT Father we are lost and separated with no way to communicate at all much less effectively.
.
* “His memory” suggests a choice or decision on each of our parts to acknowledge God, our Father.
.
* This opens up truth as our reality and God places us in Heaven WITH Him (the Father) once again where we were all along.
*This is our truth and all that the Father is He gives to His Son. This is our true power and the only power we have. We call it LOVE.
.
* This can be done individually. It is the experience that all will eventually experience and we will understand that aloneness was an impossibility.
.
* To be clear; it is the Recognition of God that is our connection to one another. No other mind trick or ego-releasing gymnastics suffices for this. Not even the recognition of Christ or the oneness of creation.
.
* I promise you that God really is not that bad, I suspect it is the idea of letting go of “control” that we never really had anyway that is what prevents people from accepting His existence. Maybe that is why we have to get our fill of suffering before we are willing to let Him into our lives even though it is only through Him that we will be able to have life and then it will be everlasting.
