Freedom Principles; At-One-Meant Now

I have a function God would have me fill.

* That is me (debi) and you.
,
1. It is your Father’s holy Will that you complete Himself, and that your Self shall be His sacred Son, forever pure as He, of love created and in love preserved, extending love, creating in its name, forever one with God and with your Self.
.
* Can you FEEL your Heavenly Father’s love for you?
.
* It might be a bit difficult in this scenario: “creating in its name, forever one with God and with your Self.” It undermines the relationship that we have with God in my mind. We create in the name of Christ because that is recognizing CREATION and the JOY that God, the Father has in Him.
.
²Yet what can such a function mean within a world of envy, hatred and attack?
.
* The function spoken of here is creating with the Power that IS the Love of God.
.
2. Therefore, you have a function in the world in its own terms.
.
* You have a purpose that responds to the confusion and chaos the delusional ideas of the Son of God have manifested.
.
²For who can understand a language far beyond his simple grasp?
.
* We are each able to bring clarity to our situation, individually and as a whole.
.
³Forgiveness represents your function here.
.
* It may not encompass everything but it does signify its beginning.
.
⁴It is not God’s creation, for it is the means by which untruth can be undone.
.
* Forgiveness is not God’s creation. Yet he has given it to us as the remedy for or error. THAT constitutes COMING FROM God. It meets the needs of what could never have been.
.
⁵And who would pardon Heaven?
.
* No need there.
.
⁶Yet on earth, you need the means to let illusions go.
.
⁷Creation merely waits for your return to be acknowledged, not to be complete.
.
* Creation is already complete in God and I can stand in God’s Presence in the Atonement through the Holy Instant. I have spoken before of creation being a constant thing that evolves BUT I COULD HAVE BEEN WRONG. Creation may not “evolve” but simply be revealed. As the Son?!! As Heaven?!!
.
3. Creation cannot even be conceived of in the world.
.
* In the world of the EGO.
.
²It has no meaning here.
.
* Here? Or there? I propose that Jesus would say it has no meaning there because he stands outside of the ego world as may we.
.
*I see where we have come up with the “Let go” concept. And having no attachments to what we think is here because we do not know what is real. And yes, even our identity can get confusing. This is BECAUSE we are attempting to see while still participating in the ego’s world and outside of the Atonement.
.
³Forgiveness is the closest it can come to earth.
.
* NO NO NO, not to earth but to the ego world. There is a BIG difference.
.
* I know that true forgiveness releases all to God. And that is happiness for me because I trust God.
.
⁴For being Heaven-born, it has no form at all.
.
* It here would be referring to EARTH as Heaven-born. I am not even sure anymore if the energy bodies that we have are our truth. For now, I have to put them into that basket of “observe and treat with love and respect but do not cling to.”
.
* Remember we are speaking of something that IS and something that IS NOT at the same time. Our understanding or representation of our experience and our identity is confused by the error of belief in separation from God which has now had several millennia in Time to apply layers of falsehoods and half-truths which the Holy Spirit will allow to all away from our eyes as we let the Holy Spirit give us God’s Vision.

⁵Yet God created One Who has the power to translate in form the wholly formless.
.
* We have power in our thoughts, apparently just currently misdirected. I wonder if all the thoughts of the Son of God in all its imagined forms is a part of all the “being” in Heaven?
.
⁶What He makes are dreams, but of a kind so close to waking that the light of day already shines in them, and eyes already opening behold the joyful sights their offerings contain.
.
* GOD will give us existence on the ego-manipulated earth, A NEW DREAM, a new Vision. Even now, if you know God at all there seems to be “something” about what we envision in our stories that has a basis in truth. Do you hear that?
.
4. Forgiveness gently looks upon all things unknown in Heaven, sees them disappear, and leaves the world a clean and unmarked slate on which the Word of God can now replace the senseless symbols written there before.
.
* “looks upon all things unknown in Heaven” we are IN Heaven, we are the ones who made it hell. What a joyful promise we have when we allow GOD TO HAVE HIS WAY!
.
²Forgiveness is the means by which the fear of death is overcome, because it holds no fierce attraction now and guilt is gone.
.
³Forgiveness lets the body be perceived as what it is; a simple teaching aid, to be laid by when learning is complete, but hardly changing him who learns at all.
.
* The body changes all the time throughout life. It almost seems scary to the human mind to consider things that do not change and yet I have perfect faith that we will be prepared for that reality. The Holy Spirit will gently lead us there once we let HIM.
.
5. The mind without the body cannot make mistakes.
.
* Doesn’t that seem bizarre!?! Form is actually the “unreal” quotient here. Yet Jesus teaches that it is with the thought that God created His Son and that we create the world by how we choose to view our circumstances. Hmm. My red flag radar is up because this seems contrary to the rest of the Course.
.
²It cannot think that it will die, nor be the prey of merciless attack.
.
* True enough, the mind will not die. Though many a mind’s thoughts have caused a person to take their lives. This frightens me to think that this is the degree of deception that may be found within the Course material, intended or accidental. Attack can only be done by the mind because NOTHING else is real in this realm of the physical, everything begins there and it is received there by another.
.
* Even a “forthright lie with intent” need not be seen as an attack if the mind(s) it is focused toward are not willing to accept it as such. It can be seen as merely a mistake that can easily be corrected. Just like DEATH was not honored in the crucifixion because death is not a truth. Doesn’t this sound more like the teachings of Jesus that we know in the Course, and elsewhere?

³Anger becomes impossible, and where is terror then? ⁴
.
* Jesus knows full well that anger is an emotion that humanity uses to discharge the accumulation of falsehoods that this world of confusion produces. But think of it, what is anger in the ego world may well be passion in the presence of God’s Love.

.
* It is from Jesus that we get God’s fierceness that is seen in the Old Testament. Jesus learns like us and the New Testament was softer. With the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants, he attempted to draw us closer to God through the recognition of familial relationships and how desirable they are AND how destructive they can be. I believe this was to show us God’s relationship with us. The Love/Hate contrast that the mind can think it is engaged in. In the Course, Jesus takes us further by seeking to make the relationship with the Holy Spirit the primary one in your life because it unites you with God, Himself.
.
What fears could still assail those who have lost the source of all attack, the core of anguish, and the seat of fear?
.
* Only the fact that you are still in the flesh and Jesus states in another part of the Course that we can harm ourselves severely here in our confusion and fear.
.
⁵Only forgiveness can relieve the mind of thinking that the body is its home.
.
* This may well be true. (I tell you, I am beginning to feel like a punching bag with the things Holy Spirit is having me respond to in the Course. This feels right, this feels off, let’s consider, hmm. Remember that communication is a living and breathing experience. Things are often not as they at first appear to be.)
.
* Instituting complete forgiveness has lifted me away from this reality a great deal. I would never have imagined myself to be able to endure where I am now and what I see without it.
.
* From the outside I suspect that I sound like a bitter old woman who has a grandiose complex that thinks she is going to save the world and NO ONE else can do it but her. Isn’t that our stereotypical old crone caricature?
.
* Inside I am at peace though I can get daydreams of having a thin body again or being able to walk around a lake or hold hands and be safe in someone else’s presence. It is kind of like doing a puzzle or eating my favorite meal. It is there a moment and can be gone with hardly another thought and nothing really changes who I really am as God created me. In other words, all things pass anyway and as a part of the One Mind of Christ, I somehow feel that I am a recipient of all things kind and sweet that occur throughout creation and my cup is full.
.
* I am going to quantify this statement by saying all things in the world of physical fade. Yet, the Love that is shared, even between a puzzle piece and me, is real and eternal and is a part of me the Whole Sonship. Likewise, with humanity. There is no hierarchy in God’s Sonship.
.
* So, I am okay knowing that EVERYONE is in the mind of God and safe. Maybe that makes me a naive idiot as well. If so I am okay with that. I just do not like to get caught in people’s ego games or make other people uncomfortable in ego circles by speaking of my favorite subject; the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
.
* I am happy with who I am and I am trying to listen to the Holy Spirit to get inspiration on how to engage with the world. I figure Jesus has me in a role in the Universal Plan and I do not need to worry about judging it. I do want to observe so that I can get educated about the symbols that Heavenly Father uses to speak to me. And writing about it all makes it tangible somehow like I am doing my part.

⁶Only forgiveness can restore the peace that God intended for His holy Son.
.
* Yes, like I said up above.
.
⁷Only forgiveness can persuade the Son to look again upon his holiness.
.
* Only complete forgiveness of the Atonement can allow you to walk in a world filled with fear knowing you are separated in form and “story-line” from those you so long to embrace and share your love with peace and joy in your heart as well as happiness knowing that God is taking care of it all BECAUSE HE IS GOD.
.
* The way this is stated “⁷Only forgiveness can persuade the Son to look again upon his holiness.” it sounds like the Son is the one who gets the credit or the forgiveness that the Son does get the credit and that is well, just obscene! It is God who gets the credit because He has ALLOWED compensation or accommodation for our error.
.
6. With anger gone, you will indeed perceive that, for Christ’s vision and the gift of sight, no sacrifice was asked, and only pain was lifted from a sick and tortured mind.
.
* This is very misleading to me! It is NOT Christ’s vision that we get. Christ’s vision is messed up with the ego. We get the Vision of the Holy Spirit. We see through our spiritual eyes what God would have us see. It has nothing to do with our own empowerment or ability to free ourselves!!
.
* I suspect that a Course student needs to decide which camp he is in. Where Christ Reigns or where God does. The way it was taught when I went into the public arena in 2019 was that Christ Reigns and the Atonement was something attainable only after death or in some distant non-understandable time. There is room for discussion on this today at least.
.
* No sacrifice was asked but that is because you and all of creation are exactly as God created us perfect, whole, and innocent. It is our confusion and guilt that have bound us to these confusing states of self-punishment.
.
²Is this unwelcome? ³Is it to be feared? ⁴Or is it to be hoped for, met with thanks, and joyously accepted? ⁵We are one, and therefore give up nothing.
.
* If we stop here we have the metaphysical idea of oneness that lets anything be okay.
.
⁶But we have indeed been given everything by God.
.
* When we keep in mind that God is our source of all we desire and need we have a moral compass that is otherwise easy to deny and give over to the ego.
.
. This tells us we have what we need and access to it IF we would accept the complete forgiveness of the Atonement and give Him the credit so we could start hearing each other and the Holy Spirit and start working things out.
.
7. Yet do we need forgiveness to perceive that this is so.
.
* It must be complete forgiveness that the Atonement demands.
.
²Without its kindly light we grope in darkness, using reason but to justify our rage and our attack.
.
* Without complete forgiveness’s light it is dark and our thinking is misdirected.
.
³Our understanding is so limited that what we think we understand is but confusion born of error. ⁴We are lost in mists of shifting dreams and fearful thoughts, our eyes shut tight against the light; our minds engaged in worshiping what is not there.
.
* And worship we have been told by Jesus belongs to God not to any part of the Sonship, including him.
.

8. Who can be born again in Christ but him who has forgiven everyone he sees or thinks of or imagines?
.
* “Born again” is definitely a term from Christianity and falls short of the rest of the material in the Course because Jesus says there is nothing to do, you ARE the Christ. Extend the meaning to embrace the change that comes from complete forgiveness of thinking of separation from God which is impossible and you have the Atonement.
.
* Hear the word “EVERYONE”? Nothing less will count as forgiveness. Do to forgive the ego, forgive the Christ who had the original thought of separation. And thinks of or imagines? Have we forgiven cruel things that have happened there? This is why I know that only COMPLETE FORGIVENESS OF THE WHOLE CHRIST constitutes forgiveness at all. We cannot pick and choose. We forgive AND then we set healthy boundaries.
.
²Who could be set free while he imprisons anyone? ³A jailer is not free, for he is bound together with his prisoner. ⁴He must be sure that he does not escape, and so he spends his time in keeping watch on him. ⁵The bars that limit him become the world in which his jailer lives, along with him. ⁶And it is on his freedom that the way to liberty depends for both of them.
.
* Once we set the world free in “complete forgiveness” THEN we can speak of particularities that need to be addressed. Then we can implement healing constructive actions rather than punishments and reprimands and separation.
Otherwise, we are chasing shadows; labeling and grouping without equality overall.
.
9. Therefore, hold no one prisoner. ²Release instead of bind, for thus are you made free. ³The way is simple. ⁴Every time you feel a stab of anger, realize you hold a sword above your head. ⁵And it will fall or be averted as you choose to be condemned or free. ⁶Thus does each one who seems to tempt you to be angry represent your savior from the prison house of death. ⁷And so you owe him thanks instead of pain.
.
* Anger does not come into the equation at all if one has forgiven Christ/Creation completely. In #10 we will see how someone is still ticked off at Jesus and considers him Christ in (I believe it is Helen) her mind. Because of this anger that she has towards him. I mean, this is supposedly the “Jesus Christ” that her ancestors have just 20 years prior in her lifetime been slaughtered for in WWII for having killed him. No matter her personal beliefs, social stigma alone has to have been powerful and would have been difficult to not be a part of.
.
* The way 9 is set up is still very misleading because it suggests that any particular part or person in the Sonship could even be looked at. God only sees ONE SON. If you are seeing with the Vision that only the Holy Spirit can give you cannot see one part of the Sonship as different at all from the rest of it. It is ALL wrong, insane, and confused because it is trapped by fear and guilt and if we will see the WHOLE SONSHIP at once we have a chance to understand what forgiveness means in Heavenly Father’s terms. Without it we are just egos chasing our tails. ******This is huge in the misunderstanding of the Course’s teaching today.
.
* Let’s look at 10 and see the confusion of the scribe/editors.
.
10. Be merciful today. ²The Son of God deserves your mercy.
.
* I propose that the “Son of God” referred to here is Jesus Christ and two of them (namely Helen and Ken) are upset and shall we say “politically estranged from him” because of their Jewish heritage. (Bill was not Jewish.)
.
³It is he who asks that you accept the way to freedom now.
.
* Jesus of Nazareth who was called Jesus Christ is the one who Helen has been getting the Course from and it is he who is making this request.
.
⁴Deny him not.
.
* Makes it sound like Jesus is speaking in the third person which can make the material confusing.
.
⁵His Father’s Love for him belongs to you.
.
* I suggest this means: God’s Love for Jesus belongs to you as well because you are part of the Sonship of Christ.
.
⁶Your function here on earth is only to forgive him, that you may accept him back as your Identity.
.
* As you forgive Jesus AND THE REST OF CREATION which is the Whole Sonship and Son of God you see that you are a part of that Sonship as well whom God adores.
.
⁷He is as God created him.
.
* Christ/Creation is as God created Him.
.
⁸And you are what he is. ⁹Forgive him now his sins, and you will see that you are one with him.
.
* And you are a part of that. Can you tell by the wording the struggle that they all must have had to accept this concept?!? IF God IS then all Creation MUST be His Son! And THAT is the struggle of ACIM and all other paths and roads. Determining IF there IS A GOD.
.
* Consider this; if you are an “eternal child” as Jesus teaches us that Christ is would you WANT a FATHER?? I would! I was given that question in the LDS Temple and I said yes. I would want Him to exist even if it meant I did not. I was told to think of it like a pyramid with God at the top and all else extending out from Him. The imagery the Course presents of this escapes us at the moment because of the way that it has been presented is to be so metaphysical that the ONLY person who could possibly understand it was Kenneth Wapnick, himself. And this was not Jesus’ intent.
.
* Perhaps the imagery of the scroll with the words God IS between past and future is the imagery. But I do not see NOW as God. Nor do I mistake that as being Christ IS or I AM. I take it as God IS.
.
* I will hold God in esteem and awe and I will not argue for God nor defend Him because He does not need that. As His Child, I would rather not BE than to be without HIM. And if that makes me “whatever” so be it.
.
* If you think that I am passionate. You would be correct. Passion and anger are not the same things. Though they may manifest similarly.
.
Forgiven is everything but having to continue in this pit is enough to make anyone look angry or feel passionate about getting out of it. Until we are willing to be passionate we will not do anything about our situation and that is what is so frustrating and debilitating about how the Course has been taught these last 50 years in my opinion. We have been told and taught “to be afraid of our passion.” Yet without it we can feel as if we are not allowed to exist.
.
* I think that most of us can understand that hurt lies behind what appears as anger as well. And it is one of the steps in Grief. Are we not going to go through a grieving process as we let go of the ego constructs/stories that we have written about ourselves. Let us NOT be afraid of PASSION.
.
* My view from complete forgiveness of the Sonship sees the oneness that must be identified for that forgiveness to be REAL. COULD THIS BE THE TRUE REASON WE MUST THINK OF OURSELVES AS ONE WITH EVERYTHING?
.
* There is no reason to grapple with the idea that there is more than one in one. Our very bodies are a beautiful monument to that concept. The many cells have individual responsibilities and yet they maintain a whole unit that we think of as one. Water is another example. Atmosphere, as well as light or energy, may be one whole or one part of a whole. The body shows this so beautifully because of the many components/systems it contains as well as singular entities complete and capable.
.
* How can we not allow a number beyond our comprehension to be encompassed within the Sonship that God beholds as His Son? As well as seeing organisms (think communities or states).
.
* God’s ONENESS gives POWER and AUTHORITY to the SON that “unitedly” is as powerful as the FATHER. Unitedly leaves nothing outside itself and would include all dimensions and galaxies beyond the imagination. Our PERSONAL POWER is NOT INITIATED without the RECOGNITION of the WHOLE SONSHIP “UNDER” GOD.
.
* In this scenario, it must be remembered according to the word of Jesus that GOD CAME FIRST. This is a critical understanding. Even though the idea of the hierarchy does not exist in heaven, in this one particular it does according to the teachings of Jesus in this Course and in other places where his teaching are found. And it is crucial that awe be given only to God, the Father and HIS WORK. NOT KEN’S, NOT MINE, NOT JESUS’ but God’s through us, HIS SON.
.
* I have heard of those near the Course being given AWE treatment. I fear that my dedication to this work will tempt some to send it in my direction and this is the farthest thing from anything that Jesus teaches and is at the core of why his message continues to be corrupted and why creation continues to have fear, strife, and suffering unnecessarily.
.
* Let us put the glory and recognition of our BEING back in the HANDS of the ONE to Whom it belongs, which is God.
.

* Case in point is Hans Christian Anderson, a man I have a lot of respect for because of the work that God gave us through him. I do not wish to bash him because of my judgments of how he lived out his sexual life OR family life. That is none of my business and has to do with his understanding his own relationship to God and himself. This is why we want to give overall judgment to the Holy Spirit.

* I understand this may upset some people but I leave it stand as my witness.
