16. Miracles are teaching devices for demonstrating that it is more blessed to give than to receive.

*It serves both giver and receiver. WIN/WIN.

They simultaneously increase the reserve strength of the giver, and supply the lack of strength in the receiver.

*They are not draining. You give nothing up to extend the miracle. You edify and light up the world.

BE VERY CAREFUL in interpreting this.

*Do you suppose he is speaking of the sentence above, “They simultaneously increase the reserve strength of the giver, and supply the lack of strength in the receiver.”

*Hmm, I still comfortable with what I said. The draining I was referring to has to do with the sense of energetic, often emotional, draining that can happen with some people. Offering the miracle, or true vision, is perhaps the answer to the “emotional vampires” among us. As well as all else that ails us. I have a sense that this may be, but this is my interpretation.

INSTRUCTIONS: The purpose of this course is integration.

*Bing pulls up these as definition for integration:

synonyms: combination · amalgamation · incorporation · unification · consolidation · merger · fusing · blending · meshing · homogenization · homogenizing · coalescing · assimilation · concatenation · desegregation · inclusion

the intermixing of people or groups previously segregated.
“integration is the best hope for both black and white Americans”

mathematics: the finding of an integral or integrals. “integration of an ordinary differential equation” · “mathematical integrations”

psychology: the coordination of processes in the nervous system, including diverse sensory information and motor impulses. “visuomotor integration”

psychoanalysis: the process by which a well-balanced psyche becomes whole as the developing ego organizes the id, and the state that results or that treatment seeks to create or restore by countering the fragmenting effect of defense mechanisms.

*I actually, love each of these definitions, because I think they all apply in this sphere of time that we live in, as pertains to this course. I look at it as the ultimate “KNOW YOURSELF”, “KNOW the ONE” opportunity.

I told you that you will not be able to use it right until you have taken it.

*I observe comments from people who claim to have reached Nirvana, Enlightenment, etc. And LOVE and wholeness spews out of their mouths as if they had no other emotion. Now, maybe this is real. I do not know. And perhaps there will be some who walk among us like this, even now. I tend to think though, that the ultimate “taking of the course” will not be had until we all are able to comprehend it. Because, until then, there is a bit of ourselves “out there”, in the form of another individual, not understanding and still suffering.

*I believe that we can understand it intellectually, and even, internally, before we will get to experience it fully. This is where, for now, I do not believe that I am living my own life. I believe that I am living out a role that Christ wants to experience in his delusion of duality. This is where meditation, years ago, helped me to understand becoming the observer of the self, rather than the experiencer or partaker of all in my realm of comprehension.

As long as your identification vacillates, (and B’s is weak) you cannot accept the gift that belongs to you.

*(B is Bill, the scribe and psychiatric department head of the college that they worked at.) Our identification, I suspect, needs to line up with our Divine/Spiritual self, rather than the identity that we claim in this body form.

You are still vacillating between recognizing the gift and throwing it away.

*(You, here, is Helen, the receiver of the channeling from Jesus.) Remember she is not a Christian. Not a believer. She does this because she feels drawn to, but that does not mean that intellectually or spiritually that she accepts (or even understands at this point) what Jesus has to say.

B. regards himself as too weak to accept it.

*Bill is the agnostic, a believer, at least, in God. Helen is an atheist. Do we, in our normal societies, feel adequate to accepting the power of God within ourselves? Not in the twentieth century and here, two decades beyond, a few are beginning to acknowledge it. Bill may have been among the first, in western culture, anyway.

You do not yet know its healing power.

*In reading his biography, I recall the experiment he would use of getting the opera tickets. It would be another 15 years before Abraham-Hicks would begin teaching us of the Law of Attraction, yet, was this not Bill’s experimentation? Now, opera tickets and healing may not seem to go together at first, but the healing power covers all things pertaining to existence. Helen had only begun at this point. **Which, noted, is a lot further than the majority of us are today.

After you have passed the course, you will accept it and keep it and use it.

*In her lifetime she probably had many opportunities to witness the power of the Miracle. Yet, again, I suspect that passing the course will require all of us. That means that not even Jesus can claim to have passed it at this point in “time”. Time is the operative word here. When time has no meaning any longer…. (And that is coming soon, I believe. Maybe I only “sense it”, in the Biblical sense, as when Jesus spoke of the End of this World being soon.) Well, when time has no meaning any longer we will find this is the state of our psychological understanding of ourselves and the “Miracle” will just be the “Norm”.

That is the final exam, which you will have no trouble in passing.

*We will all “get it” at that point. Jesus had to give them an “expected outcome” or reference in time terminology to give them encouragement to continue the work they had agreed to.

Midterm marks are not entered on the permanent record.

*Here, again, is the encouragement needed. That what we experience while still in any construct of “time”, and I believe this includes that which we spend in spirit between lives. Yes, I am aware NDE’s speak of no time, however, there are concepts that suggest, while they do not have the constraints we have of time, they still have something, because they may choose to return here, even multiple times. And they are still in a process of learning there, as well, as helping us out, here in this physical place. (I know that this goes against what a lot of people understand, even official NDE experiencers, but I have to bear my witness from what resonates within me.)

17. Miracles are the absence of the body.

*That we may recognize while in the presence of the body, as well as in the form of spirit alone. (This leads me to acknowledge that I may not be teaching this for those in the form of body. If you are reading this with sincere intent to understand yourself, God, or me, this is for you. I may also be teaching it to those who are in spirit. I believe that the focus required to live within the body construct allows us the closest relationship to the Holy Spirit and the Creator of the Matrix, i. e. The Son of God. In this form I may be able to receive instruction that out reaches, even the teachings of Jesus. Only with his support and guidance, perhaps, or so it is in my situation, for he is my ultimate guide. Jesus spoke of us being able to do greater things than he did, because he was going to his father. I believe that “Father” was Christ or the head/center of the Matrix. And not the father who created the Matrix, or Son of God. I choose to walk hand in hand with Jesus, to discern or understand the capacity that humanity has in receiving the Miracle, to the point where the Miracle is no longer needed and The True Father welcomes home His Son.)

They are sudden shifts into invisibility, away from lower order reality. That is why they heal.

*The “lower order reality” is the body…..and I believe this includes the spirit-world as well. –forgive me, I know this is different to all understanding thus far.
