My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 249, for September 5, 2024. TRUE Forgiveness Ends BELIEF in Suffering and Loss

Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss.

* It ends it because you understand that it could not be real.

1. Forgiveness paints a picture of a world where suffering is over, loss becomes impossible and anger makes no sense.

* TRUE.

* That does not mean that you will not get frustrated with the confusion people insist on reveling in.

²Attack is gone, and madness has an end.

* IN REALITY for you, but NOT WITHIN the world you must still be a part of. And you are still going to be hurt when a rubber binder snaps you, right! Argh! But YOU will KNOW that this is NOT REAL because GOD IS REAL!

* This is how I LIVE THIS ATONEMENT and the challenges that I face in the world that still believes in separation from God.

³What suffering is now conceivable?

* You have a greater understanding of how reflective the words you use are to the Reality that you choose to claim as real. And HEARING the words that attract the negativity of UNFORGIVENESS is very hard to see coming out of the mouths of those that you love and want to see comfortable.

⁴What loss can be sustained?

⁵The world becomes a place of joy, abundance, charity and endless giving.

* You now KNOW that this is ALL THAT IT COULD be BECAUSE GOD IS REAL.

* But it still will hurt to see those around you speak as if the suffering could be REAL BECAUSE you realize that denies God’s Presence and leaves them thinking their suffering IS real.

⁶It is now so like to Heaven that it quickly is transformed into the light that it reflects.

* I dare say that this is how a lot of the teachings about our word usage has come about in the past 50 years.

⁷And so the journey which the Son of God began has ended in the light from which he came.

2. Father, we would return our minds to You.

²We have betrayed them, held them in a vise of bitterness, and frightened them with thoughts of violence and death.

³Now would we rest again in You, as You created us.

* I want to speak to this a moment. I can walk away from someone who is not ready to let God in and not be completely devastated by that because I understand that TIME and SPACE is NOT SOMETHING that I need to be concerned about.

* I understand that there is NO TIME or SPACE as we understand it and that ALL things will be in their proper order in God’s “Timing.”

* Because of this, I do not lose my Peace, Happiness, or Joy when things do not go the way that I want them to or know that they ‘could.’
