He was NOT created by his own free will.
*He is humanity. ACIM uses the pronoun HE because only the Son is real. There is only one being, even though we seem to be many. The Son was created by God. Even of God’s will.
Only what HE creates is his to decide.
*Humanity decides what he creates (what we create). We seem to do this separately, but that is part of the illusion. There is a connection between what we create individually and collectively that, I believe, the miracle-mindedness helps to realign.
The basic decision of the miracle-minded is NOT to wait on time any longer than is necessary.
*Heaven is to be experienced NOW.
Time can waste, as well as be wasted.
*Distraction is the tool I saw given to parents in raising their children in the 80 s and 90 s. Use of anti-depressants let us not be concerned about things that we have need to deal with and resolve. (I am not a doctor and am making a general statement here, not to be taken as medical advice.) Survival is the state of much of the western world from what I have observed and that is not what life was given to us for.
The miracle-worker, therefore, accepts the time control factor of the miracle gladly, because he knows that every collapse of time brings all men closer to the ultimate RELEASE from time, in which the Son and the Father ARE one.
*This can appear frightening because it seems like the obliteration of the individual or the human race. I do not profess to understand it fully. I only know that I have faith that God has everything under control and that we will be more than satisfied with the results, and we will also be prepared for them. So, time will not end until we are ready and willing. We will give up the ego mask and acknowledge our relationship to God as His Son.
The real meaning “are of one kind” is “of one mind or will.”
*Do you see how this opens the door to individual identity? God as one and the Son as one. Not separate, regardless of the form, because of the single mind or will.
When the will of the Sonship and the Father are one, their perfect accord IS Heaven.
*Sonship, people, that means all of us! Their will being the same = heaven! Do you think guilt, shame, and punishment are a part of the will of the Father? I declare that this is not so. I say this as a mother who will wait as long as needed for my children to know they are loved and perfect just as they are. The only thing that causes them to harm themselves or others is the belief that they are not perfect, just as they are.
*I suggest that we will be able to exercise existence in our own creative ways and that they will not interfere or hinder others.
*Our next discussion will reveal this to a greater extent.
*Accepting the miracle means seeing others as equal, while understanding your place in the Sonship, and a part of Christ, the Son of God. Reach for that trust and witness that the Holy Spirit holds out to you, because this is who you truly are.
