9. What Is the Second Coming?
1. Christ’s Second Coming, which is sure as God, is merely the correction of mistakes, and the return of sanity.
* I love the promise in that statement.
²It is a part of the condition that restores the never lost, and re-establishes what is forever and forever true.
* I skimmed through the last of the workbook titles and found one that read that the miracle does not create, it erases the illusion and simply reveals what has always been, basically Heavenly Father’s presence in and with the Son. Isn’t that beautiful?
³It is the invitation to God’s Word (YOU and ME in our TRUE REALITY/IDENTITY/FORM ~ I use that word lightly) to take illusion’s place; the willingness to let forgiveness rest upon all things without exception and without reserve.
* “…the willingness to let forgiveness rest upon all things without exception and without reserve.”
* “…upon all things…”
* “without exception and without reserve.”
2. It is the all-inclusive nature of Christ’s Second Coming that permits it to embrace the world and hold you safe within its gentle advent, which encompasses all living things with you.
* “ALL-INCLUSIVE” IT LEAVES NOTHING AND NO ONE OUTSIDE ITS RELEVANCE.
²There is no end to the release the Second Coming brings, as God’s creation must be limitless.
³Forgiveness lights the Second Coming’s way, because it shines on everything as one.
* “Forgiveness lights the Second Coming’s way.”
* “Because it shines on everything as one.” ONE/WHOLE/COMPLETE/UNIVERSAL/HARMONY/SON/LIGHT/WORD/INCLUDED
⁴And thus is oneness recognized at last.
3. The Second Coming ends the lessons that the Holy (*wholly) Spirit teaches, making way for the Last Judgment, in which learning ends in one last summary that will extend beyond itself, and reaches up to God.
* “… reaches up to God.” This is misleading because God is in all things at all times and places so you might be better served to think of this as simply reaching God within the self and seeing HYMN in all things.
²The Second Coming is the time in which all minds are given to the hands of Christ, to be returned to spirit in the name of true creation and the Will of God.
* ARGH! That sounds so twisted, because it makes Christ sound separated from us, otherwise it IS TRUE and reason to REJOICE.
4. The Second Coming is the one event in time which time itself can not affect.
²For every one who ever came to die, or yet will come or who is present now, is equally released from what he made.
* We enter it or acknowledge it each in our own time and must accept it for ourselves. This is the Atonement.
³In this equality is Christ restored as one Identity, in which the Sons of God acknowledge that they all are one.
⁴And God the Father smiles upon His Son, His one creation and His only joy.
5. Pray that the Second Coming will be soon, but do not rest with that.
²It needs your eyes and ears and hands and feet.
³It needs your voice.
⁴And most of all it needs your willingness.
⁵Let us rejoice that we can do God’s Will, and join together in its holy (*wholly) light (*understanding).
⁶Behold, the Son of God is one in us, and we can reach our Father’s Love through Him.
* Yes, SINCE we ARE the Son of God.
And God Himself shall wipe away all tears.
1. Father, unless I judge I cannot weep.
* Not quite because there can be tears of joy. I suspect that there is just a word or two that was left out of this statement by the scribes or editors that would have given clarification.
²Nor can I suffer pain, or feel I am abandoned or unneeded in the world.
* Misleading because you will still need to play your role within the story of Heavenly Father’s Plan of Salvation but you will NOT see these things as REAL because you will understand it is simply a temporary role you play.
³This is my home because I judge it not, and therefore is it only what You will.
* My “home” is the presence of God which I acknowledge in acceptance of the Atonement.
⁴Let me today behold it uncondemned, through happy eyes forgiveness has released from all distortion.
* YES! (This is what the Atonement gives you.)
⁵Let me see Your world instead of mine.
* Yes! Let me see the Son in all things, seen and unseen and Father’s presence in him.
⁶And all the tears I shed will be forgotten, for their source is gone.
* Tears for what I thought was reality.
* This does not mean that I will not shed tears in the world that still believes in separation just as I would at a movie that was sad.
⁷Father, I will not judge Your world today.
2. God’s world is happy.
* Primarily because it is all-inclusive in releasing the Son from the belief in separation from Father.
²Those who look on it can only add their joy to it, and bless it as a cause of further joy in them.
³We wept because we did not understand.
⁴But we have learned the world we saw was false, and we will look upon God’s world today.
* It is recognizing what is false and what is real that the Atonement blesses us with.

My thoughts* on ACIM Workbook Lesson 302, October 30, 2025.
Where darkness was I look upon the light.
* The belief in separation from God is where darkness seems to thrive.
1. Father, our eyes are opening at last.
²Your holy (*whole/complete) world awaits us, as our sight is finally restored and we can see.
³We thought we suffered.
⁴But we had forgot the Son whom You created.
* The Son whom Heavenly Father created, of whom you and I are a part.
⁵Now we see that darkness is our own imagining, and light is there for us to look upon.
⁶Christ’s vision changes darkness into light, for fear must disappear when love has come.
* I truly prefer to see this as Heavenly Father’s vision rather than Christ’s. It becomes too confusing because our minds can so easily fall into thinking of this as someone other than ourselves.
⁷Let me forgive Your holy (*whole/complete) world today, that I may look upon its holiness (*whole/complete/perfect) and understand it but reflects my own.
* Perfection in Heavenly Father allows for the Son to make correctable mistakes.
2. Our Love awaits us as we go to Him, and walks beside us showing us the way.
* “Our Love” is Heavenly Father’s presence, which IS Love.
²He fails in nothing.
* “He” is Heavenly Father, not Christ.
³He the End we seek, and He the Means by which we go to Him.
* Again, this refers to FATHER, not to Christ.
* When one understands the nuance of the message traveling through the ego and the beliefs at that time regarding Jesus, who was thought to be the only body that was Christ and God at the same time, it is easier to see why things are not stated a bit clearer.

My thoughts* on ACIM Workbook Lesson 303, October 31, 2025.
The holy Christ is born in me today.
* Because I have awakened to the fact that I am a part of the body of Christ, as Jesus taught.
1. Watch with me, angels, watch with me today.
²Let all God’s holy (*whole/complete/perfect) Thoughts surround me, and be still with me while Heaven’s Son is born.
* This is where “Thoughts” refer to all parts of the body of Christ.
* This is a “witness” to the awakening mind that remembers that it is part of the Son of God.
³Let earthly sounds be quiet, and the sights to which I am accustomed (*that which I have thought to be separate) disappear.
⁴Let Christ be welcomed where He is at home.
* In me, as myself.
⁵And let Him hear the sounds He understands, and see but sights that show His Father’s Love (*as real).
* Without putting “as real” at the end of this it leaves us in limbo, not understanding that the Atonement is to be experienced here and now.
⁶Let Him no longer be a stranger here, for He is born again in me today.
* This happens AS I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT THE WITNESS OF SPIRIT WITHIN THAT GOD LIVES, LOVES HIS SON, AND HAS NEVER ABANDONED HIM.
2. Your Son is welcome, Father.
²He has come to save me from the evil self I made.
* Yes, from the false self that I thought had betrayed Heavenly Father.
³He is the Self that You have given me.
* Hear this, please. Absorb it and know that you are literally a part of the body of Christ.
⁴He is but what I really am in truth.
* Not in the singular as in an individual human body, but as the whole of all creation.
⁵He is the Son You love above all things.
* There is no “thing” that does not embody creation and Heavenly Father, even within the illusion, because all sorrow will be wiped away and Father will be seen in all things, experiences, and ideas.
⁶He is my Self as You created me.
* Yes, as a whole with ALL of creation.
⁷It is not Christ that can be crucified.
⁸Safe in Your Arms let me receive Your Son.
* This still plays out like some ancient text trying to incorporate some esoteric symbolism, and it is so VAIN.
* Christ cannot be crucified because Heavenly Father holds him close to HYMNSELF.
* I am safe in Heavenly Father’s Arms AS HIS SON.

This is the last Workbook Lesson that I will be posting until October 31st, 2026. I might still be on X. I will have to listen carefully to SPIRIT, and all.
I do not know what Father has in mind, exactly, but I know that I will develop discipline in areas that will prepare me for what follows after. I am grateful for the companionship of SPIRIT and look forward to the adventures of the coming year.
