My thoughts* on ACIM Workbook Lesson 242, August 31, 2025. This Day is God’s. It is My Gift to Him.

This day is God’s. It is my gift to Him.

* I love this!

* It is becoming clear to me that the strategies of that which would shut down my voice would be glad to use anyone’s image they thought would distract me from the work that I do.

* What better way than to have a man of distinction come into my energy bandwidth and sweep me off my feet and out of my alignment with the calling I have accepted to be a voice for God. Haha.

* I am not naïve. Innocence is not stupid; it trusts GOD and Divine Inspiration, and that is what you are watching. I have nothing else to offer the world of illusion.

* Whereas, in GOD I can do ALL THINGS because I am a part of the body of Christ, and that is what I choose to live by.

1. I will not lead my life alone today.

* I am finding myself giving up ‘ownership’ of my life and letting SPIRIT be the director. It does lead me into places that are new and unknown, but it is by the witness within that I will move in.

²I do not understand the world, and so to try to lead my life alone must be but foolishness.

³But there is One Who knows all that is best for me.

⁴And He is glad to make no choices for me but the ones that lead to God.

⁵I give this day to Him, for I would not delay my coming home, and it is He Who knows the way to God.

2. And so we give today to You.

²We come with wholly open minds.

³We do not ask for anything that we may think we want.

⁴Give us what You would have received by us.

⁵You know all our desires and our wants.

⁶And You will give us everything we need in helping us to find the way to You.
