My thoughts* on Manual for Teachers (ACIM) #31, 24th of May 2025, What is Justice? *It is SEEING GOD, SERIOUSLY, EVERYWHERE.

19. What Is Justice?

1. Justice is the divine correction for injustice.

²Injustice is the basis for all the judgments of the world.

* The world without GOD before it, within it, and through it, is based on lack and guilt which can only exist in fear, which feeds those who would control (male energy without God) and drives those who compete (female energy without God).

³Justice corrects the interpretations to which injustice gives rise, and cancels them out.

* Ah, in the Atonement, God is returned to the mind of the Son and fear is cast out.

⁴Neither justice nor injustice exists in Heaven, for error is impossible and correction meaningless.

* Since God is in everything. That is where I live.

⁵In this world (*that believes in separation), however, forgiveness depends on justice, since all attack can only be unjust.

⁶Justice is the Holy Spirit’s verdict upon the world.

⁷Except in His judgment justice is impossible, for no one in the world is capable of making only just interpretations and laying all injustices aside.

⁸If God’s Son were fairly judged, there would be no need for salvation.

* Because the son can only truly be as God created him, like HYMNSELF.

⁹The thought of separation would have been forever inconceivable.

2. Justice, like its opposite, is an interpretation.

²It is, however, the one interpretation that leads to truth.

³This becomes possible because, while it is not true in itself, justice includes nothing that opposes truth.

⁴There is no inherent conflict between justice and truth; one is but the first small step in the direction of the other.

* It is basically acknowledging that since GOD IS ALL THINGS, His Son must be innocent, as he was created, and anything else is confusion. The forgiveness of the original error that led to belief in separation from God, clears the belief in separation and its subsequent results. It does not clear out or clean up what needs to happen to unwind the psyche that has been in separation mode for eons. That still demands to be addressed by acts humanity can perform.

⁵The path becomes quite different as one goes along.

⁶Nor could all the magnificence, the grandeur of the scene and the enormous opening vistas that rise to meet one as the journey continues, be foretold from the outset.

⁷Yet even these, whose splendor reaches indescribable heights as one proceeds, fall short indeed of all that wait when the pathway ceases and time ends with it.

⁸But somewhere one must start.

⁹Justice is the beginning.

* This is part of creating or witnessing to the level playing field that we all need to see each other from as we walk into freedom and equality.

3. All concepts of your brothers and yourself; all fears of future states and all concerns about the past, stem from injustice.

²Here is the lens which, held before the body’s eyes, distorts perception and brings witness of the distorted world back to the mind that made the lens and holds it very dear. ³Selectively and arbitrarily is every concept of the world built up in just this way.

* “Arbitrarily means doing something based on chance, whim, or impulse, rather than being planned or based on reason. It refers to actions or decisions that are not necessarily guided by necessity, reason, or principle.”

⁴“Sins” are perceived and justified by careful selectivity in which all thought of wholeness must be lost.

* The “wholeness” stated here is the entire creation that is Christ.

⁵Forgiveness has no place in such a scheme, for not one “sin” but seems forever true.

* This convoluted English annoys me! It says simply that “sin,” which has no meaning, because everything IS GOD and GOD has no opposition, seems true because things are broken apart.

* Like describing the elephant, one is not capable of seeing the whole of creation as the Son of God because “sin” breaks it apart.

4. Salvation is God’s justice.

* Salvation is redemption or restoring clear and correct perception.

²It restores to your awareness the wholeness (*IE. connection, unity) of the fragments you perceive as broken off and separate.

³And it is this that overcomes the fear of death.

⁴For separate fragments must decay and die, but wholeness is immortal.

* Understanding this is where ETERNITY has substance.

⁵It remains forever and forever like its Creator, being one with Him.

⁶God’s Judgment is His justice.

* It is basically acknowledging what is and what could never have been.

* Wholeness, unity in, of, and through God, is our ONLY identity with anything we consider singular, and with all that is.

* THIS is what I want to share with another. This is the understanding that I want to give, live, and experience with one man.

⁷Onto this,—a Judgment wholly lacking in condemnation; an evaluation based entirely on love,—you have projected your injustice, giving God the lens of warped perception through which you look.

⁸Now it belongs to Him and not to you.

* In other words, you have given these ideas of injustice to YOUR vision or interpretation of God and said that “God sees injustice, calls it sin, and seeks to punish.” You are the one who created a monster IN PLACE OF, FATHER, Who has “a Judgment wholly lacking in condemnation; an evaluation based entirely on love.”

⁹You are afraid of Him, and do not see you hate and fear your Self as enemy.

* All right, break it down, ONLY GOD IS.

* HE IS WHOLLY EVERYTHING, including yourself.

* It is the current “higher self” or “forgotten self” that thought separation could be real and upon which you cast the “role” of god, therefore it is your forgotten self, or mistake, that you see as an enemy and see (rightly, yet wrongly) AS GOD.

5. Pray for God’s justice, and do not confuse His mercy with your own insanity.

* In other words, do not cling to the idea of separation from ANYTHING, except what is not GOD and therefore impossible.

²Perception can make whatever picture the mind desires to see.

³Remember this.

⁴In this lies either Heaven or hell, as you elect.

⁵God’s justice points to Heaven just because it is entirely impartial.

* I live there, even though I see the confusion that people have placed on themselves with belief in separation. I have to part physiologically but I know we are whole and I carry them in my heart in their perfection.

⁶It accepts all evidence that is brought before it, omitting nothing and assessing nothing as separate and apart from all the rest.

⁷From this one standpoint does it judge, and this alone.

⁸Here all attack and condemnation becomes meaningless and indefensible.

* Over the past fifty years, humanity has attempted to put this application onto the world that believes in separation to justify and hide wrongdoing. Such as what we see being exposed in the USA today. The claim is there is no wrong so we can turn a blind eye to what appears as wrong within the world that believes in separation, and this only breeds contempt for itself. It does not witness to God’s reality or their own truth.

* This has been happening since the “Fall” or “Belief in Separation.” I say “fifty years” because of the time that “A Course in Miracles” has been on the earth and misinterpreted.

⁹Perception rests, the mind is still, and light returns again.

* FROM WITHIN THE ATONEMENT.

¹⁰Vision is now restored.

* GOD IS SEEN AND HIS SON IS IDENTIFIED AS ALL THAT IS, AND BEING WITHIN THE MIND AND WILL OF GOD.

¹¹What had been lost has now been found.

* Thank you, Father!!!

¹²The peace of God descends on all the world, and we can see.

* “The peace of God” rests within me singularly, and as each mind receives it the light of God and truth shine brighter till all throughout creation will see clearly.

¹³And we can see!
