My thoughts* on ACIM Workbook Lesson 115, April 25, 2025, Salvation is MY Only Function Here

For morning and evening review:

1. (99) Salvation is my only function here.

* We are here to remember GOD and let the stories of ego be thrown at us without falling into them by holding God’s Reality front and center in our hearts and minds. This is what makes us a mirror and allows the other to see what they believe they are in ego so that they are assisted in having the courage to give up the ego and SEE GOD in themselves and all around them.

* Ultimately, it is ONLY GOD that we will “WILL” to see because we ARE EACH A PART OF GOD’S SON.

* Still remembering that “THE REMEMBERING GOD” (AS ALL, ALL, ALL POWERFUL, ALL, ALL, ALL, KNOWING, ~ THE ONLY GIVER OF TRUE KNOWLEDGE, IN OTHER WORDS ~ AND EVERYWHERE) IS WHAT BEING HIS SON “IS.”

* Remember that as you engage with others, while God IS WHAT WE SEE, we do NOT want to “see ourselves as God” or WE individually, and as a collective, lose HYMN.

* We lose the understanding that we are Guided, we are Loved, we are able to make mistakes because Father will undo any traumatic affect (affect is correct because only God is a True Cause that makes an Effect which is Real) caused by forgetting HYMN as the ONLY GOD, in the INSTANT that He is remembered.

* THIS is what has happened, even though it may appear to have lasted millions of years. Time has no impact or influence on God.

* The question I am curious about is what happens when two parts of Christ come together in FULL recognition of both the Father and the Son in FULL EQUALITY.

* It would be as if two gods came together. Hmm. I simply will accept no long-term anything without that Eternal Reality acknowledged, because ANYTHING ELSE is false entrapment, and a form of bondage and corruption. And not real.

* My “training” is to YIELD for a man or in the name of love. As I grew into adulthood, it became the code for existence in the lives of my adult children; to yield in the name of love.

* I do not accept either of these concepts today. When they were young, I understood they were God’s children first, and I approached their care and instruction with that in mind. When they chose to “fly” it tore me apart as they each left early, but I had to allow them the freedom to make choices.

* I have spent two decades attempting to “be there” for them and find that we have come to the place where we “worship the song of death” and our interactions are based on obligation, competition, or various forms of deceitful manipulation and exclusion. Why would that be something I would be “content” with as a child of God in my own right?

* Having children is one of the best teaching experiences I have ever had. It was vital to my becoming who I am today in recognizing the powerful relationship between a parent and child. I had five girls and a boy (#4). I am grateful they volunteered to be my children so that I could learn what I have. I know that I gave them everything I have and I continue to do so through this work. Whether they choose to receive it or not is up to them. I have no doubt of our affection and love for one another, regardless.

* At the same time, today, I choose to live in the perfection of God’s Presence, where I know who I am and there is only light.

* In this place, I know that ALL travel with me and in me. Everyday, SPIRIT shows me more about this.

* I do not accept those who wish to stay in the shadows so my “close” relationships are gone and that is okay with me. I will give support where I can as Father Directs through SPIRIT.

²My function here is to forgive the world for all the errors I have made.

* “I” meaning part of the mind of the Son, who forgot to laugh at the idea of separating from Father.

* Also, I forgive that original error, and I have released all of the “shadow” from being real in any circumstance past, present, or future; even while I must make choices that deal with existence “as if” the shadow were real.

³For thus am I released from them with all the world.

* Amen, and so it is.

2. (100) My part is essential to God’s plan for salvation.

* We each want to forgive Christ and recognize God’s Existence and Presence.

²I am essential to the plan of God for the salvation of the world.

* Being a part of God by being a part of the Son of God (all of creation), I am responsible for releasing belief in what is false.

³For He gave me His plan that I might save the world.

* My role ALONE does not save the world but united, each doing our part does, will, and has already, we just need to “wake up” to that fact by partaking in the Atonement as Jesus presented and I have outlined above.

3. On the hour:

²Salvation is my only function here.

* My function, yeah, to release the false and see God.

* Father takes over from there.

* He “has the wheel” to our vehicle, or “drives” us to the fulfillment of our desires throughout existence. In other words, HE Guides us toward fulfilling our desires as a part of HYMNSELF that HE acknowledges as His Son.

* I am grateful to have this witness and the attention of a Loving Father.

* And, while may not be quite the same as a self-driven vehicle, it is because we simply “set our mind on God” and let HYMN do the driving or do as He Directs through SPIRIT. Only God continues with us in ALL things and not just the journey from here to there, like our “self-driven vehicle” analogy.

³On the half hour:

⁴My part is essential to God’s plan for salvation.

* Necessary, because it makes you accept your own reality as PART of the Son of God.
