My thoughts* on A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 88, The Light Has Come *FATHER IS SEEN

Today we will review these ideas:

1. (75) The light has come.

* FATHER has been seen!

²In choosing salvation rather than attack, I merely choose to recognize what is already there.

* I NEED TO MAKE IT A ONCE AND DONE DECISION IF I AM GOING TO HAVE THE PEACE, HAPPINESS, AND JOY THAT IS A PART OF THE ATONEMENT, WHICH UNDOES BELIEF IN SEPARATION FROM GOD AS “NOTHING” ELSE CAN.

³Salvation is a decision made already.

⁴Attack and grievances are not there to choose.

* This does not mean that you will not be shown the ego “trappings” by FATHER through SPIRIT.

⁵That is why I always choose between truth and illusion; between what is there and what is not.

⁶The light has come.

⁷I can but choose the light, for it has no alternative.

* Eventually, we will all understand this.

⁸It has replaced the darkness, and the darkness has gone.

* Cause, like, it NEVER was really there, but we do not have to believe that now to see God, we just have to accept that God, the FATHER, is WISER than the Son.

* The TRUTH will be revealed to us, AND we will be able to psychologically accept it in a step by step process that SPIRIT will Lead us through.

2. These would prove useful forms for specific applications of this idea:

²This cannot show me darkness, for the light (*WITNESS of GOD, the One Original Universal FATHER) has come.

³The light (*WITNESS of GOD, the One Original Universal FATHER) in you is all that I would see (*AS REEEEAAAALLLLL), [name].

⁴I would see in this only what is there.

* Acknowledging what is NOT REAL allows one to be taught how to establish HEALTHY BOUNDARIES!

* This is what we are experiencing on a worldwide stage in 2025.

3. (76) I am under no laws but God’s.

* TRUE, but bear in mind that God does not have “laws,” HE JUST IS.

²Here is the perfect statement of my freedom.

³I am under no laws but God’s.

⁴I am constantly tempted to make up other laws and give them power over me.

⁵I suffer only because of my belief in them.

* Yes, in laws that come from the ego that was manifested to replace FATHER with the belief in separation from HYMN.

⁶They have no real effect on me at all.

⁷I am perfectly free of the effects of all laws save God’s.

⁸And His are the laws of freedom.

* It is funny how this makes sense to us right now because we believe there ARE laws at all, but it works, and we will be led from where we are today.

³I see only the laws of God at work in this.
