* A miracle is simply the presence of God.
1. You are entitled to miracles because of what you are.
* You are HIS SON. THAT IS WHY YOU ARE ENTITLED TO HIS PRESENCE.
²You will receive miracles because of what God is.
* It is HIS ACTUAL PRESENCE that is the miracle in this state of believing in separate, right? It makes sense, doesn’t it?!!
³And you will offer miracles because you are one with God.
* You will bring God with you and through you.
⁴Again, how simple is salvation!
⁵It is merely a statement of your true Identity.
* YOU are NOT GOD, do not let that be what you hear. YOU ARE HIS SON.
⁶It is this that we will celebrate today.
2. Your claim to miracles does not lie in your illusions about yourself.
* The illusions are dead weight with grandiose ideas and whether they manifest or not they are meant to bring about your destruction and this destruction comes from inside of you and nowhere else. (At the same time, there are many other rogue egos that are doing the same things, so collectively you make up stories of destruction to rip yourselves apart.)
²It does not depend on any magical powers you have ascribed to yourself, nor on any of the rituals you have devised.
³It is inherent in the truth of what you are.
* As a SON OF GOD.
⁴It is implicit in what God your Father is.
* GOD happens to be ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING, AND EVERYWHERE. (OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT, AND OMNI-PRESENT)
⁵It was ensured in your creation, and guaranteed by the laws of God.
* Amen.
3. Today we will claim the miracles which are your right, since they belong to you.
²You have been promised full release from the world you made.
* This is the miracle that you receive in the ATONEMENT by releasing from punishment the very first idea that separation from God is possible.
³You have been assured that the Kingdom of God is within you, and can never be lost.
* You can feel that witness when you accept the ATONEMENT.
⁴We ask no more than what belongs to us in truth.
⁵Today, however, we will also make sure that we will not content ourselves with less.
4. Begin the longer practice periods by telling yourself quite confidently that you are entitled to miracles.
* YOU ARE ENTITLED TO GOD’S PRESENCE. THIS IS WHAT BOTH HELEN AND BILL WERE LOOKING FOR. AND IT IS IN THE STORIES OF THEIR YOUTH BUT WAS HIDDEN FROM THE WORLD BY THE EGO OF KENNETH WAPNICK.
²Closing your eyes, remind yourself that you are asking only for what is rightfully yours.
³Remind yourself also that miracles are never taken from one and given to another, and that in asking for your rights, you are upholding the rights of everyone.
* Did you get that? YOUR ACCEPTING THE ATONEMENT MEANS THAT EVERYONE IS SET FREE, YOURSELF INCLUDED. IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE A GOD AND ABLE TO DO WHATEVER NASTY THING THAT YOU CAN COME UP WITH AS THE WORLD HAS BEEN DOING FOR FIFTY YEARS AND MORE.
⁴Miracles do not obey the laws of this world.
* NO when God is Present God is Present.
⁵They merely follow from the laws of God.
* There is NO LAW OF GOD.
* THERE IS ONLY GOD.
5. After this brief introductory phase, wait quietly for the assurance that your request is granted.
²You have asked for the salvation of the world, and for your own.
³You have requested that you be given the means by which this is accomplished.
⁴You cannot fail to be assured in this.
⁵You are but asking that the Will of God be done.
6. In doing this, you do not really ask for anything.
* This pisses me off. Can you tell? It is misleading on so many levels.
* You are asking that God’s Presence be allowed in your psyche and that is huge.
* I would post that three inches high if I thought it would make ANYONE hear it better!
²You state a fact that cannot be denied.
* God’s Presence cannot be denied but it can be ignored.
³The Holy Spirit cannot but assure you that your request is granted.
* The WHOLE SPIRIT affirms within you that this is so.
* HEAR HOW WE HAVE BEEN DUPED. HEAR HOW WE HAVE BEEN MISLED. LET IT FUME WITHIN YOU AND CAUSE YOU TO TAKE THE ACTION OF DECISION THAT MUST BE MADE TO TURN THIS WORLD AROUND.
⁴The fact that you accepted must be so.
* This is the ATONEMENT, the UNDOING of error that you are being asked to ACCEPT!
⁵There is no room for doubt and uncertainty today.
* ALLOW THE TRUTH TO RESONATE WITHIN YOU.
⁶We are asking a real question at last.
* ASK YOURSELF IF YOU WANT GOD TO BE REAL. DO YOU WANT A BENEVOLENT CREATOR TO ESTABLISH THE RIGHT OF THE SON OF GOD TO EXIST IN WHATEVER FORM HE CHOOSES TO PRESENT HYMNSELF.
⁷The answer is a simple statement of a simple fact.
* YES, THAT IS A SIMPLE STATEMENT OF FACT AND YET, IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT IT, YOU WILL NOT SEE SEE SEE SEE SEEE IT!
⁸You will receive the assurance that you seek.
7. Our shorter practice periods will be frequent, and will also be devoted to a reminder of a simple fact.
²Tell yourself often today:
³I am entitled to miracles.
* I AM ENTITLED TO SEE GOD. I AM ENTITLED TO KNOW THAT HE EXISTS AND THAT I AM HIS SON.
⁴Ask for them whenever a situation arises in which they are called for.
⁵You will recognize these situations.
⁶And since you are not relying on yourself to find the miracle, you are fully entitled to receive it whenever you ask.
* AND WHO WOULD YOU BE RELYING ON WITH THE WAY THAT THE LESSON WAS LAID OUT?
* YES, point is it is SPIRIT that you are to listen to within AFTER you have allowed the voices within you that say that GOD IS NOT HERE to be silenced or to be ignored.
* Ignoring those voices that say God is not here is what I believe the meaning of silence and stillness is when Jesus speaks of it.
8. Remember, too, not to be satisfied with less than the perfect answer.
²Be quick to tell yourself, should you be tempted:
³I will not trade miracles for grievances.
* I WILL NOT SELL OUT GOD SO THAT I CAN STAND THERE AND HAVE A TANTRUM ABOUT HOW SOMEONE TREATED ME.
* You want to be pissed, go right ahead, and I am going to show you how to do it but when you do, know that GOD IS and that this bullshit is NOT REAL.
⁴I want only what belongs to me.
* I WANT MY PLACE AT THE TABLE AS A PART OF THE SON OF GOD.
⁵God has established miracles as my right.
* GOD HAS ESTABLISHED HIS PRESENCE AS MY RIGHT ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE SONSHIP OF CHRIST AND THAT INCLUDES YOU!
