12. How Many Teachers of God Are Needed to Save the World?

1. The answer to this question is—one.

* One, willing to get out of the way and allow GOD to come through.

²One wholly perfect teacher, whose learning is complete, suffices.

³This one, sanctified and redeemed, becomes the Self Who is the Son of God.

* DO not be fooled. This is each of us. Whether it is today or tomorrow, that is up to us.

⁴He who was always wholly spirit now no longer sees himself as a body, or even as in a body.

* DID YOU SEE THAT??? WHOLLY SPIRIT FINALLY WRITTEN PROPERLY!!!!!

⁵Therefore he is limitless.

⁶And being limitless, his thoughts are joined with God’s forever and ever.

* Limitless, because he is in GOD, WHOLLY. And his thoughts are joined with God’s forever and ever.

⁷His perception of himself is based upon God’s Judgment, not his own.

* Yes.

⁸Thus does he share God’s Will, and bring His Thoughts to still deluded minds.

* Deluded; believing something that is not true: “the poor deluded creature” misinformed, misled, misdirected, wrong, mistaken, ill-advised, foolish

* If you think about it, this says that we DO IN FACT make wrong choices when we are outside of acknowledging Heavenly Father.

⁹He is forever one, because he is as God created him.

* I suggest that “forever one” is the same as whole, and a fully integrated part of the Christ who Father recognizes as His Son. It could also be seen as the definition of “holy” that is so often misunderstood.

¹⁰He has accepted Christ, and he is saved.

* He has accepted himself as a PART of Christ and is thereby saved from his delusion or wrong thinking.

2. Thus does the son of man become the Son of God.

²It is not really a change; it is a change of mind.

* That’s all it is, folks!

³Nothing external alters, but everything internal now reflects only the Love of God.

* Yes, and it becomes very difficult to be around those who need to put down others as a way of life.

⁴God can no longer be feared, for the mind sees no cause for punishment.

* Precious!

⁵God’s teachers appear to be many, for that is what is the world’s need.

⁶Yet being joined in one purpose, and one they share with God, how could they be separate from each other?

* Joined in one purpose! The TRUE meaning of oneness! What could be a better purpose than celebrating LIFE and worshipping the One Who Gave it to us? Hymn flowing through us is a cause for celebration!

⁷What does it matter if they then appear in many forms?

⁸Their minds are one; their joining is complete.

⁹And God works through them now as one, for that is what they are.

* YES

3. Why is the illusion of many necessary?

²Only because reality is not understandable to the deluded.

³Only very few can hear God’s Voice at all, and even they cannot communicate His messages directly through the Spirit which gave them.

⁴They need a medium through which communication becomes possible to those who do not realize that they are spirit.

* A “m(M)edium,” Wow, I had forgotten this is where that came from. Years ago, it was called the “priesthood.” Still is in some circles, but the point is that YOU ARE SPIRIT and YOU ARE ABLE TO HEAR GOD’S MESSAGES TO YOU DIRECTLY. (And remember that there are false ones as well.)

⁵A body they can see.

⁶A voice they understand and listen to, without the fear that truth would encounter in them.

* As believers in “SEPARATION FROM GOD” we do not allow the voice within to be heard. This is the only reason why we need teachers of God. ‘Millions’ of years down the road all will embrace their own inner voice and connection with Father. For now, it is alright to lean into another’s witness and FAITHFUL AWARENESS and KNOWLEDGE, as long as it FEELS CORRECT TO YOU. But PLEASE do not follow others blindly because there are many willing to do your thinking for you who could care less about YOU.

⁷Do not forget that truth can come only where it is welcomed without fear.

* This is important to understand. AS you are willing to hear the inner voice and be faithful to it (God’s Voice always supports your worthiness and that of others as HIS SON) your confidence will grow and you too will become a teacher of God AS YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS A STUDENT FIRST, AND ALWAYS.

⁸So do God’s teachers need a body, for their unity could not be recognized directly.

4. Yet what makes God’s teachers is their recognition of the proper purpose of the body.

²As they advance in their profession, they become more and more certain that the body’s function is but to let God’s Voice speak through it to human ears.

* YES.

³And these ears will carry to the mind of the hearer messages that are not of this world, and the mind will understand because of their Source.

* Which is God speaking to His Son and we each have a place that honors this.

⁴From this understanding will come the recognition, in this new teacher of God, of what the body’s purpose really is; the only use there really is for it.

* Okay, folks, this does not mean that you do not go to the bathroom or hug your kids! It means that all things the body does are to keep it available to be the teach of God that it is during this lifetime.

⁵This lesson is enough to let the thought of unity come in, and what is one is recognized as one.

* Unity in purpose.

⁶The teachers of God appear to share the illusion of separation, but because of what they use the body for, they do not believe in the illusion despite appearances.

* Herein, teachers of God are able to show God’s Love to the masses AND show Love to the individual “form” that houses a Part of the Son of God at this time. This is MY understanding today.

5. The central lesson is always this; that what you use the body for it will become to you.

* Hear that! WHAT YOU USE IT FOR ~ IT WILL BECOME TO YOU. You will give it meaning.

* Ego’s delusion created it to represent separation from God. YOU, BY REMEMBERING GOD, CAN BRING THE REMEMBRANCE OF God into your own life AND into that of those whose lives you touch.

²Use it for sin or for attack, which is the same as sin, and you will see it as sinful.

³Because it is sinful it is weak, and being weak, it suffers and it dies.

⁴Use it to bring the Word of God to those who have it not, and the body becomes holy.

* Wholly, meaning united with God, connected to All That Is and one with the Father’s Purpose for His Son which is to have JOY in LIVING.

⁵Because it is holy it cannot be sick, nor can it die.

⁶When its usefulness is done it is laid by, and that is all.

* Like a costume being worn it will be picked up only when it is needed and taken off when the role is done.

⁷The mind makes this decision, as it makes all decisions that are responsible for the body’s condition.

⁸Yet the teacher of God does not make this decision alone.

* The Whole Counsel that Jesus Heads is a part of this as well as SPIRIT which contains the Highest Self of ALL PARTS of the Sonship of Christ AND FATHER’S VOICE.

⁹To do that would be to give the body another purpose from the one that keeps it holy. * Wholly.

¹⁰God’s Voice will tell him when he has fulfilled his role, just as It tells him what his function is.

¹¹He does not suffer either in going or remaining.

¹²Sickness is now impossible to him.

6. Oneness and sickness cannot coexist.

²God’s teachers choose to look on dreams a while.

³It is a conscious choice.

⁴For they have learned that all choices are made consciously, with full awareness of their consequences.

* I choose to stay here to be a Voice for God but I do not wish to be a part of the brutality that we impose on one another in our belief in separation.

⁵The dream says otherwise, but who would put his faith in dreams once they are recognized for what they are?

⁶Awareness of dreaming is the real function of God’s teachers.

⁷They watch the dream figures come and go, shift and change, suffer and die.

⁸Yet they are not deceived by what they see.

⁹They recognize that to behold a dream figure as sick and separate is no more real than to regard it as healthy and beautiful.

* lol, my figure is not of concern to me in a lot of ways. Something tells me that I am supposed to be big right now for a reason that is bigger than I am able to know at this time. Lol, it gets used by those who want to attack the Presence of God’s Love but that is not real. Oh, it can make me feel uncomfortable. And it might be what they label as the cause of how I lay this body down but it has one purpose and I am grateful for it in that role as the vehicle for the message of God to His Son.

¹⁰Unity alone is not a thing of dreams.

* UNITEDNESS, CONNECTION, EQUALITY BEFORE AND IN GOD. THESE ARE TRUTHS WORTH STANDING FOR.

¹¹And it is this God’s teachers acknowledge as behind the dream, beyond all seeming and yet surely theirs.
