Love created me like itself.
* Remember that GOD IS THE ONLY LOVE THERE IS and that GOD IS ALL THAT IS.
1. Today’s idea is a complete and accurate statement of what you are.
²This is why you are the light of the world.
* And while you ARE that even when you DO NOT RMEMBER that you are, once you do remember that you become a 1000 watt bulb compared to a 4 watt bulb. 😉
³This is why God appointed you as the world’s savior.
* EACH of YOU! 😊
⁴This is why the Son of God looks to you for his salvation.
* We all look to each other and if we are all not running at 1000 watts we feel it.
⁵He is saved by what you are.
* As am I by what YOU ARE. And YOU by what I AM.
⁶We will make every effort today to reach this truth about you, and to realize fully, if only for a moment, that it is the truth.
2. In the longer practice period, we will think about your reality and its wholly unchanged and unchangeable nature.
²We will begin by repeating this truth about you, and then spend a few minutes adding some relevant thoughts, such as:
³Holiness created me holy.
* Whole, people! Always means WHOLE in and with God and everything else in creation seen and unseen.
⁴Kindness created me kind.
⁵Helpfulness created me helpful.
⁶Perfection created me perfect.
⁷Any attribute which is in accord with God as He defines Himself is appropriate for use.
⁸We are trying today to undo your definition of God and replace it with His Own.
⁹We are also trying to emphasize that you are part of His definition of Himself.
* Isn’t that beautiful? Part of HIS definition of HYMNSELF! I think that is beautiful!
3. After you have gone over several such related thoughts, try to let all thoughts drop away for a brief preparatory interval, and then try to reach past all your images and preconceptions about yourself to the truth in you.
* You are in fact like God, as is EVERYONE and EVERYTHING because GOD IS EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE.
* BUT YOU ARE NOT GOD. To think you are leads you to characteristics like Charles Manson and Fundamentalist LDS Leaders who have consensual sex with 12 year olds in front of their 80 wives who were first with their father.
²If love created you like itself, this Self must be in you.
* IN YOU. Not YOU, YOU. There IS a difference, and we are ALL EQUAL in this.
* To misunderstand this teaching is to lose both the Father and the Son, and that leaves you smack dab in egomania.
* I think of the Son as the Observer in MEDITATION. The Observer gets to decide which thoughts to hold onto, the thoughts of breath and stillness or chaos. Similarly, the Son sees the Father or the ego depending on which “LENS” he chooses to see through.
* I have chosen to see through the lens of Father which is SPIRIT by releasing my belief in the goofy nonsense that the son thinks he has created through ego without Father. This does not mean that I have lost all of my egoic thoughts and habitual patterns. It means I opened the door for SPIRIT to show me them so that I may correct them when I stepped into the forgiveness of the Atonement that UNDOES BELIEF IN SEPARATION.
³And somewhere in your mind It is there for you to find.
* Capitol “I” on It, I love that they recognized it.
* You already have this knowledge. You do not have to bring it in, you need to uncover it and release it from the bondage you placed it in when you chose to accept the idea that you could and would separate from God, the One Original and Universal Creator and Father to all Creation.
4. You may find it necessary to repeat the idea for today from time to time to replace distracting thoughts.
²You may also find that this is not sufficient, and that you need to continue adding other thoughts related to the truth about yourself.
³Yet perhaps you will succeed in going past that, and through the interval of thoughtlessness to the awareness of a blazing light in which you recognize yourself as love created you.
⁴Be confident that you will do much today to bring that awareness nearer, whether you feel you have succeeded or not.
5. It will be particularly helpful today to practice the idea for the day as often as you can.
²You need to hear the truth about yourself as frequently as possible, because your mind is so preoccupied with false self-images.
³Four or five times an hour, and perhaps even more, it would be most beneficial to remind yourself that love created you like itself.
* I read something yesterday that says while there may be a Father that the main goal is our Oneness and I would have to counter with IF there is no Father, there IS no Wholeness, no Oneness.
* TRULY, FATHER MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED. HE IS OUR POWER, STRENGTH, SOURCE, EVERYTHING!
⁴Hear the truth about yourself in this.
6. Try to realize in the shorter practice periods that this is not your tiny, solitary voice that tells you this.
²This is the Voice for God, reminding you of your Father and of your Self.
* Hear that please. YOUR FATHER ~ and ~ your Self. FATHER FIRST. Sorry, Mr. President. 😉 I do understand the need to express as he does and I do believe that this does NOT detract from his being aware that, INDEED, GOD IS FIRST.
³This is the Voice of truth, replacing everything that the ego tells you about yourself with the simple truth about the Son of God.
* AS YOU PUT FATHER FIRST WITHIN ~ THAT IN THE WORLD AROUND YOU WILL BEGIN TO REFLECT THIS MORE AND MORE. WELCOME TO THE um, GOLDEN AGE. 😊
