My thoughts* on A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 53, Thoughts Manifest, Know What YOU Think

Today we will review the following:

1. (11) My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world.

* The thing about living in the Atonement is that you can let go of yesterday because you are living in the Presence of GOD’s Direction. The Love He has for the Whole Son of God is the PRIORITY and warring energies of separation are laid aside.

* You do not exactly know what you are doing or not doing but you know that someone bigger than you does know and that brings great comfort.

* As things begin to shift in the world because the energy is being lifted, we will find it easier to just let go of grudges and history. It may become easier for others just because we are holding the witness that THIS IS OUR TRUTH as the Son of God, UNITEDLY, and in EQUALITY. We have all been confused and can leave that behind in the forgiveness of the original belief in separation.

²Since the thoughts of which I am aware do not mean anything, the world that pictures them can have no meaning.

³What is producing this world is insane, and so is what it produces.

* Separation and division is not our truth, celebration of life, and remembrance of Father IS.

⁴Reality is not insane, and I have real thoughts as well as insane ones.

* Jesus says that we each remember who we really are or we could not exist at all. It really is a matter of being willing to let go of the grudges and let God be seen in our every moment.

* Yesterday, as I had nervous anticipation at being in the presence of my adult kids, I kept repeating, “I want to see God. I want to see only God. God IS all that there truly IS.”

* It ended up being a pleasant visit and I even heard of a long-awaited reconciliation for which I am very grateful. Yet to be realized fully, but it has begun, and I am overjoyed!

* I felt less than secure in what I shared with them in the humble gifts I brought. I am a recycler and shared what made me think of them and what might lift them as inspired by SPIRIT. They were all very gracious and again, I am very grateful.

* It has been a rough year emotionally for me as I have let go of control of my life and let Father take it where HE Will.

* We want to be able to see past the “FORM” of what life is presenting and realize that we LOVE ONE ANOTHER and that we are secure in FATHER’s Love EQUALLY and have no need to be judging one another OR ourselves as less than perfect however we are presenting as long as it is authentic and EVEN THEN we want to have patience with ourselves and with others because INSIDE WE UNDERSTAND WHO WE TRULY ARE and that WE ARE ENOUGH as is our neighbor.

* This does not mean that you do not have healthy boundaries or that you do not have differing opinions about things. It means that you listen, graciously and without defensiveness and work out a reasonable compromise.

* I told the kids they could drop off my stuff at the nearest trash can if they did not like them but that I had fun gathering them.

* There was one that I want to share. It was a Moana doll that I had on my desk for a year at my first apartment here. My adult children are used to horror films of attacking dolls and have an aversion to them that I have not developed.

* This was not something I approved of. Fear is not a friend to humanity. And I do not believe in “healthy fear” such as toward fire. I would prefer to have RESPECT for all types of power, and I would say that all that is a part of the Sonship that is Christ has such power from GOD, and respect is what we need to give it in ALL things and people.

* Moana is a “way-shower” in Disney’s movie and our children are the way-showers of the future as they choose to live in a world where there is EQUALITY and ABUNDANCE FOR ALL.

* I told my daughter to set the doll aside for me if it frightens or is not wanted. It carries an energy of love when I look at it. And hope in the BEAUTIFUL generation that is growing up right now.

⁵I can therefore see a real world, if I look to my real thoughts as my guide for seeing.

* A world of FREEDOM WITH PROTECTION of the sanctity of the INNER WORLD and our relationship to the Creator Who gives justification and validity to every part of the Sonship of Christ; even while EXPECTING DIVERSITY and the Voice of God in EVERY PART.

* I do not have to claim any title to be proud of the hand of respect offered from one part of the Sonship to another.

* One day it will be natural to us and not require an extensive amount of suffering for us to acknowledge each other’s place in the Mind and WILL of the Creator.

* I cannot imagine a greater gift that I could leave my children and theirs than this work that I do online. I give my heart and my soul to it, and I turn it over to God because I know that I KNOW nothing. But I do know GOD IS and HE Does KNOW ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE KNOWN and Will Share the portion that I need as the moment requires it!

2. (12) I am upset because I see a meaningless world.

²Insane thoughts are upsetting.

³They produce a world in which there is no order anywhere.

⁴Only chaos rules a world that represents chaotic thinking, and chaos has no laws.

⁵I cannot live in peace in such a world.

⁶I am grateful that this world is not real, and that I need not see it at all unless I choose to value it.

* Again, please remember, depending on your place in the storyline of the Universal Plan of Salvation, SPIRIT will show you the workings of the ego so that you might witness it and know that it is not real because you KNOW THAT GOD IS and you will receive Direction from God on how to deal with each situation or individual.

⁷And I do not choose to value what is totally insane and has no meaning.

3. (13) A meaningless world engenders fear.

²The totally insane engenders fear because it is completely undependable, and offers no grounds for trust.

* It occurs me to ask this, “If time is not linear who is to say that my choice today to see only God did not bring about the energy to prompt the letting go of the walls that that kept the separation in the hearts of my children?”

³Nothing in madness is dependable.

* I mean, people, what is our option?

* What we have been doing is not working!

* WHY NOT GIVE GOD A CHANCE TO PROVE HE IS THERE FOR YOU?

* Remember that whenever HE BLESSES ANY PART OF THE SONSHIP HE IS BLESSING YOU. THERE IS NO LOGIC OR REASON TO FEEL “LEFT OUT” IN ANY WAY.

* Where as, the world that ego=god rules:

⁴It holds out no safety and no hope.

⁵But such a world is not real.

⁶I have given it the illusion of reality, and have suffered from my belief in it.

⁷Now I choose to withdraw this belief, and place my trust in reality.

⁸In choosing this, I will escape all the effects of the world of fear, because I am acknowledging that it does not exist.

* This does not mean that you will not go through a huge range of emotions as you walk the earth in remembrance of God while others feel separated.

4. (14) God did not create a meaningless world.

²How can a meaningless world exist if God did not create it?

³He is the Source of all meaning, and everything that is real is in His Mind.

* Damn! I LOVE THIS!

* PS, “Damn!” should be taken as “STOP the CRAP!”

⁴It is in my mind too, because He created it with me.

* I get to observe GOD IN ALL THINGS!

⁵Why should I continue to suffer from the effects of my own insane thoughts, when the perfection of creation is my home?

⁶Let me remember the power of my decision, and recognize where I really abide.

* Hate and jealousy, as with ALL grudges take a lot of energy and often end up showing itself in the body. This can be generational HATE and ANGST, as well.

5. (15) My thoughts are images that I have made.

²Whatever I see reflects my thoughts.

* “I want to see God. I want to see only God. God IS all that there truly IS.”

³It is my thoughts that tell me where I am and what I am.

⁴The fact that I see a world in which there is suffering and loss and death shows me that I am seeing only the representation of my insane thoughts, and am not allowing my real thoughts to cast their beneficent light on what I see.

⁵Yet God’s way is sure.

⁶The images I have made cannot prevail against Him because it is not my will that they do so.

* “I want to see God. I want to see only God. God IS all that there truly IS.”

⁷My will is His, and I will place no other gods before Him.

* “I want to see God. I want to see only God. God IS all that there truly IS.”
