My holiness envelops everything I see.
* I was going to say that if Helen or Bill had given even a moment of consideration that there was a real Father in Heaven looking out for us, we would have gotten the Course differently worded.
* And even before I finished that sentence, I knew that they had when Bill said, “There has to be a better way,” and Helen agreed to help him.
* That decisive moment allowed us to have the Course, just enough exasperation to allow SPIRIT to come in and Jesus took the reins, thank you, God.
* Thing is that they were not willing to hold that as an actual possibility throughout the scribing and editing of the Course.
* Had they, we would see Christ’s body, or essence, envelopes everything I see. My wholeness includes everything I see. Or Christ is everything I see, if they understood that Christ is All That Is or Ever Could Be as creation.
* Use of the word “MY” suggests the Son’s because that is who would be speaking it as Helen and Bill, along with you and me.
* The use of the word “holiness” as we understand it today elevates us to the status of Father Whom many believe Christ was and that it was solely his body that made him the Son. That is not what holy means. Its meaning is wholly.
* This one word has caused a great of confusion at this time when the shift of understanding is so near.
1. Today’s idea extends the idea for yesterday from the perceiver to the perceived.
²You are holy because your mind is part of God’s.
* We want to understand what Helen and Bill were willing to accept and what they would give us while looking at the whole document that is A Course in Miracles.
* We are not part of God’s Mind. Unitedly, we are the Mind of Christ who is within the Mind of God. Not a tiny part of God’s Mind but the Whole of it since God gave HIS ALL to the Son.
* THIS does not eliminate God and MORPH us into His Being as has been suggested by students of Jesus throughout the ages, but it does give us UNITEDLY (and that means every part of creation) similar power to God.
³And because you are holy, your sight must be holy as well.
* Because you are WHOLLY or WHOLE, your sight (vision, what you see) must be HOLISTIC. It must embody the WHOLE Consciousness that embodies the Son of God.
* The other understanding worked very well for those who wanted a “ruling class.”
* This gave them the advantage of being able to say, “God Almighty in most holy and wise providence (*position of authority), has so disposed of the condition of mankind (*made mankind this way), as in all times some must be rich (*some MUST be rich?), some poor (*GOD MADE SOME POOR?), some high and eminent in power and dignity (*a person famous and respected within a particular sphere or profession—SOME???); others mean (*lowly, poor—what!!) and in submission (*the action or fact of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person—GOD did this or did humanity do this to itself???).” From one of America’s Founding Father’s, John Winthrop in the sermon “Christian Charity A Model Thereof.” He would become the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. This was written aboard the ship Arabella in 1630, nineteen years after the King James Version of the Bible was put together.
* Whole, wholly, is what I understand holy to be from the Urtext. Still, “with God” or “like God” was the understanding of holy to Helen and Bill as shown by the following.
⁴“Sinless” means without sin.
⁵You cannot be without sin a little.
⁶You are sinless or not.
⁷If your mind is part of God’s you must be sinless, or a part of His Mind would be sinful.
* Do you see how Helen and Bill would have understood this?
⁸Your sight is related to His Holiness, not to your ego, and therefore not to your body.
* Recognize the reference to God Being EVERYWHERE and that while believing we are separated “in body, and all that this could entail” we do make mistakes. By “all” I am suggesting that “body” may refer to how we think from the “body experience” as well as in the societies, ideologies, and individual collectives we make up that seem separated.
2. Four three-to-five-minute practice periods are required for today.
²Try to distribute them fairly evenly, and make the shorter applications frequently, to protect your protection (*typo? Projection, I suspect.) throughout the day.
³The longer practice periods should take this form:
3. First, close your eyes and repeat the idea for today several times, slowly.
²Then open your eyes and look quite slowly about you, applying the idea specifically to whatever you note in your casual survey.
³Say, for example:
⁴My holiness envelops that rug.
* I would think of it as Divinity, of which I am a part, includes that rug.
⁵My holiness envelops that wall.
* Divinity, of which I am a part, includes that wall.
⁶My holiness envelops these fingers.
* Divinity, of which I am a part, includes these fingers.
⁷My holiness envelops that chair.
* Divinity, of which I am a part, includes that chair.
⁸My holiness envelops that body.
* Divinity, of which I am a part, includes that body.
⁹My holiness envelops this pen.
* Divinity, of which I am a part, includes this pen.
* Do you see how FOREIGN or objectionable that would have been to Helen and Bill?
* Because, without the witness of a Creator, they would have felt egotistical which, at least in linear terms, I do not think either of them were.
¹⁰Several times during these practice periods, close your eyes and repeat the idea to yourself.
¹¹Then open your eyes, and continue as before.
* And yet, they both “had fun” considering the possibility with Helen’s “predictions” and Bill’s “opera tickets.”
4. For the shorter exercise periods, close your eyes and repeat the idea; look about you as you repeat it again; and conclude with one more repetition with your eyes closed.
²All applications should, of course, be made quite slowly, as effortlessly and unhurriedly as possible.
* God’s Divinity is what we are MADE of in our true state and will be in body once we have allowed His Essence to be ALL That We Desire. Not that it will be permanent or “fixed” but that whatever form, collective, or ideology we engage in through our desire it will be recognized as a part of the Divine Nature that is our Heavenly Father Who Is Worthy of our WORSHIPFUL RECOGNITION.
