Reviewed 4 January 2025 Who Are God’s Teachers?
1. Who Are God’s Teachers?
1. A teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be one.
* That would include you, if you choose to do so.
²His qualifications consist solely in this; somehow, somewhere he has made a deliberate choice in which he did not see his interests as apart from someone else’s.
* It does not mean that you always make “nice” choices. Remember that you get included in the equation of the Sonship meaning that you need to be seen also.
³Once he has done that, his road is established and his direction is sure.
* This means that once that thought of wholeness has entered your mind SPIRIT is able to work with you because you have allowed it.
⁴A light has entered the darkness.
⁵It may be a single light, but that is enough.
⁶He has entered an agreement with God even if he does not yet believe in Him.
* I am grateful for this truth. And it is why I can learn from everyone but I want to understand what I learn through SPIRIT’s interpretation within me.
⁷He has become a bringer of salvation.
⁸He has become a teacher of God.
* Right, it means that GOD DOES EXIST AND WORK THROUGH THEM EVEN IF THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE HIM. This is because HE IS ALL THAT IS.
2. They come from all over the world.
²They come from all religions and from no religion.
³They are the ones who have answered.
⁴The Call is universal.
⁵It goes on all the time everywhere.
⁶It calls for teachers to speak for It and redeem the world.
⁷Many hear It, but few will answer.
⁸Yet it is all a matter of time.
⁹Everyone will answer in the end, but the end can be a long, long way off.
¹⁰It is because of this that the plan of the teachers was established.
¹¹Their function is to save time.
¹²Each one begins as a single light, but with the Call at its center it is a light that cannot be limited.
¹³And each one saves a thousand years of time as the world judges it.
¹⁴To the Call Itself time has no meaning.
3. There is a course for every teacher of God.
* I suspect that this was mis-scribed and should have read “The Course is for every teacher of God and (2) the FORM of the Course varies greatly among teachers.”
²The form of the course varies greatly.
* That is important to recognize. NO ONE has to be like “me” but ME to do this work. Whew, big sigh of relief. Come on, admit it, I heard it. Lol. I really can appreciate that and agree with you, you do NOT want to do it how I do it. I seem to like challenges or something, argh. 😉 😊
³So do the particular teaching aids involved.
⁴But the content of the course never changes.
* Do you see how the scribes did not understand this really, even by not putting a capital on Course so that it was understood that it was THIS Course in Miracles that was being referred to?
* Do you see how easily simple things overlooked can change the meaning or translation of a passage and why SPIRIT often said to me, “debi, back up and see the big picture of what Jesus is trying to say. I will help you.”
⁵Its central theme is always, “God’s Son is guiltless, and in his innocence is his salvation.”
* In other words, NO SAVIOR IS ACTUALLY REQUIRED.
* BECAUSE THE SON IS INNOCENT AND GUILTLESS.
⁶It can be taught by actions or thoughts; in words or soundlessly; in any language or in no language; in any place or time or manner.
⁷It does not matter who the teacher was before he heard the Call.
* OK, I really need to listen to this because I have a real issue with Apostle Paul who was able to kill people who did not believe as he did in zealot years when he was known as Saul who saw “the light” on the road to Damascus.
* What I am getting out of Jesus’ words here is that because we basically ARE TRULY and FULLY “OF GOD” when we are able to look just a bit beyond our bodies or thinking/traditions and realize that everyone is a part of a WHOLE we become teachers through whom SPIRIT can and will teach of Father’s Presence to His Son.
⁸He has become a savior by his answering.
* Look at the use of the term “savior” here. It is indicative of the fact that the traditional thinking of Christ as a Savior was very difficult for the scribes to let go of.
* Jesus has already told us that it was the Son’s Guiltlessness and Innocence that are His Salvation. Of what use would a “savior” be to him?
* But listen to what Jesus was trying to express, that by seeing someone else as himself he releases himself and all else from the idea that a SAVIOR IS NEEDED.
⁹He has seen someone else as himself.
¹⁰He has therefore found his own salvation and the salvation of the world.
¹¹In his rebirth is the world reborn.
* In his understanding that “He has seen someone else as himself” he is giving himself and the world at large a new beginning, a new paradigm in which to EXIST. In other words, a “rebirth.”
4. This is a manual for a special curriculum, intended for teachers of a special form of the universal course.
* … of the Universal Course. Actually, the Universal Course of Salvation.
²There are many thousands of other forms, all with the same outcome.
³They merely save time.
⁴Yet it is time alone that winds on wearily, and the world is very tired now.
⁵It is old and worn and without hope.
⁶There was never a question of outcome, for what can change the Will of God?
* In other words, God’s Will will be and has been done by all, we have only “dreamed a nightmare of it being otherwise and thought it to be real.” Therein IS time.
⁷But time, with its illusions of change and death, wears out the world and all things in it.
⁸Yet time has an ending, and it is this that the teachers of God are appointed to bring about.
* Time’s ending is only the release of belief in the stories and nightmare of separation from God and our being bound to IT instead of to Father.
⁹For time is in their hands.
* Because they teach the forgiveness and release of belief in the original separation by seeing the Whole as Complete and Indivisable.
¹⁰Such was their choice, and it is given them.
* A choice made when they were willing to receive the Witness from FATHER through SPIRIT that they are one with All That Is.
* I feel like I am involved in an archeological dig where what I am willing to patiently uncover my understandings through SPIRIT and bring greater clarity into the world of form, and knowledge of the real meaning and depth of the teachings of Jesus. I will not say it is easy, and I understand that I look and sound like a fool, but I cannot and will not stop the work of uncovering the precious gems we have been given by our beloved brother.
Till next time, God Bless, debi.
