I am not asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and the peace of God.
1. The end of suffering can not be loss.
²The gift of everything can be but gain.
³You only give.
⁴You never take away.
⁵And You created me to be like You, so sacrifice becomes impossible for me as well as You.
⁶I, too, must give.
⁷And so all things are given unto me forever and forever.
⁸As I was created I remain.
⁹Your Son can make no sacrifice, for he must be complete, having the function of completing You.
¹⁰I am complete because I am Your Son.
¹¹I cannot lose, for I can only give, and everything is mine eternally.
2. The mercy and the peace of God are free.
²Salvation has no cost.
³It is a gift that must be freely given and received.
⁴And it is this that we would learn today.
* THIS is absolutely true.
* HOWEVER, you do not become a pawn in a “story” because then you are used and sacrificed as are they.
* I suspect that this is the background for why people separate after trying to come together as couples and as families.
* Understand that inside you will feel the same for everyone and that is difficult to express.
* Morality is not thrown away but may be modified by Father through SPIRIT that prompts us.
* Some KEY Principles are taught in the Urtext of ACIM pg. 595 and 596.
The new emphasis will now be on healing. The miracle is the means, the Atonement the principle, and the healing is the result. Those who speak of “the miracle OF healing” are combining two orders of reality inappropriately. Healing is NOT a miracle. The Atonement, or the final miracle, is a REMEDY. It is purely a means, while any type of healing is a result.
* “The REMEDY is actually the witness of God’s Reality. Healing is the RELEASING OF BELIEF IN THE STORY. THIS is how one is RELEASED FROM FEAR.
The order of error to which Atonement is applied is irrelevant. Essentially, ALL healing is the release from fear. But to undertake this you cannot be fearful yourself.
* I seek to walk by SPIRIT today wherever He leads me with TRUST in FATHER’S PLAN FOR THE SALVATION FOR ALL.
You do not understand healing because of your own fear. I (*Jesus) have been hinting throughout (and once stated very directly, because you were unfearful at the time) that – 596 – you (*Helen, Bill, and the rest of us.) MUST heal others. The reason is that their healing merely witnesses or attests to yours.
* Their release from belief of “the story being real” does not mean that adjustments in form will not NEED to facilitate “the story” FOR A TIME but that we will understand it is NOT REAL NOR COULD HAVE BEEN.
A major step in the Atonement plan is to undo error at ALL levels. Illness, which is really “not Right Mindedness”, is the result of level confusion in the sense that it always entails the misbelief that what is amiss in one level can adversely affect another.
* The use of the word “misbelief” here confuses me. It makes the statement sound introverted or something.
* What is being stated is that our confusion comes from not recognizing our oneness in spirit and form.
* I foresee that being cleared away as we accept the Atonement and release one another from the stories that we, as a confused Christ, made up to punish us for believing we could replace Father.
* THIS is what I see as being misunderstood by Jesus’ disciples as they tried to force it into form without spirit and called it repentance and incorporated baptism not being yet able to accept the idea of ONENESS and that it must incorporate both form and spirit to be real.
* The idea of ONENESS is reserved for us by Father. It is found in SPIRIT that resides within each of us. NOT “the” Spirit or “Holy” Spirit (Ghost). It is SPIRIT. That which IS US IN OUR ENTIRETY AS CHRIST AND THE VOICE OF THE FATHER. IT IS OUR ESSENCE THAT KNOW REMEMBERS WHO WE ARE EVEN AS IT SEES THE CONFUSION WE BELIEVE OURSELVES TO BE IN.
We have constantly referred to miracles as the means of correcting level confusion. In reality, all mistakes must be corrected at the level at which they occur. Only the mind is capable of error. The body can ACT erroneously, but this is only because it has responded to mis-Thought. The body cannot create, and the belief that it CAN, a fundamental error responsible for most of the fallacies already referred to, produces all physical symptoms.
*I suggest that “mind” must correct the “mis-Thought” and the body will correct the ACTS. This is why I feel that crying and even illnesses are reflective of the trauma that needs to be released in form without judgment and without incrimination or attack or the need to fix it.
* I do not mean not to take a pain killer, I mean remember that it is not a REAL remedy nor is the issue that prompted its use REAL.
* I understand this to extend to ALL ailments and injuries, even death ACCORDING to the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth AND SPIRIT WITHIN ME.
* With that you can feel free to “BE” as SPIRIT directs and therein have Happiness within knowing that all will know this, Peace that Father Guides us, and Joy in Existence IN HEAVEN and ETERNAL LIFE.
* These Principles do not only apply to the body but to ideologies, situations, traditions, politics and all form of thought that humanity has put into action while under the belief that separation from Father is possible. (FATHER, the ONE ORIGINAL, UNIVERSAL Creator and God as only a TRUE GOD COULD BE. The rest of us are parts thereof but even as a Whole Christ is still the Son and NOT the FATHER.)
