I seek a future different from the past.
* I have this as I WALK IN GOD through the True Forgiveness of the Atonement.
* I am learning to give up the past and live in God’s Presence now. Trusting God to bring remembrance when I need it through SPIRIT while knowing anything outside of God’s Love IS NOT REAL.
1. From new perception of the world there comes a future very different from the past.
* YES.
²The future now is recognized as but extension of the present.
* Yes, where Peace, Joy, and Happiness reside in Heaven BECAUSE I KNOW that GOD IS and that His Son Is ALL THAT IS OR EVER COULD BE.
³Past mistakes can cast no shadows on it, so that fear has lost its idols and its images, and being formless, it has no effects.
* I am a clean slate.
* Bear in mind that SPIRIT KNOWS who has released the ego and to what extent. WE MUST BE WILLING TO WALK IN THE DIRECTION OF SPIRIT WITHOUT JUDGMENT ON CIRCUMSTANCES OR INDIVIDUALS.
⁴Death will not claim the future now, for life is now its goal, and all the needed means are happily provided.
* The witness of this is found WITHIN through the witness (feelings/promptings/instruction) of SPIRIT.
⁵Who can grieve or suffer when the present has been freed, extending its security and peace into a quiet future filled with joy?
* THIS is what LIVING IN GOD FEELS LIKE ~~ AND IS.
2. Father, we were mistaken in the past, and choose to use the present to be free.
* Bear in mind that WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE PAST.
* AND WILL BE SO UNTIL WE CLEAR OUT SOME OF THE CONFUSION THAT THE BELIEF IN SEPARATION FROM GOD, SELF, AND ONE ANOTHER HAS CREATED. SPIRIT WILL GUIDE US BUT WE MUST HAVE PATIENCE AND BE STILL IN FAITH AND CONFIDENCE THAT GOD WILL SHOW US THE WAY OUT OF THIS.
²Now do we leave the future in Your Hands, leaving behind our past mistakes, and sure that You will keep Your present promises, and guide the future in their holy light.
* We must choose to leave our minds clear of the messages of fear that the ego=god mentality has given us and LISTEN to the promptings of SPIRIT.
* We also want to be gentle and patient with ourselves and one another remembering that we are in the PROCESS OF UNDOING the error of belief in separation.
