Scribed Nov. 3, 1967, Urtext, A Course in Miracles, page 471 My review*.

* I wrote this up some time back and instead of reviewing and taking my mind off of my current assignments, I thought I would just post it. I believe I did it when I started reading John Winthrop’s Sermon on Christian Charity. Flies were everywhere but I was not living in my car at the time. 😊~ I did glance at it and I believe Father held it back for this time. Please remember that what I share that is ‘disturbing’ is something that I know has no basis in reality.

The grace of God rests gently on forgiving eyes, and everything they look on speaks of Him to the beholder.

* Yes, I see God in all things. Even the fly that I want to swat with the fly swatter.

He can see no evil; nothing in the world to fear, and no-one who is different from himself.

* No evil, only confusion.

* Peace and Rest are mine because I know that God IS.

* We are each equally part of the Son of God.

* This could be easily misunderstood, “… no-one who is different from himself.” We are not speaking of anything in the story here. It is referring to the energy that is the Son of God/Creation Itself.

And, as he loves them, so he looks upon HIMSELF with love and gentleness.

He would no more condemn himself for HIS mistakes than damn another.

He is not an arbiter of vengeance, nor a punisher of sin.

The kindness of his sight rests on himself with all the tenderness it offers others.

For he would ONLY heal and ONLY bless.

And, being IN ACCORD with what God wills, he HAS the power to heal and bless all those he looks on with the grace of God upon his sight.

Eyes become used to darkness, and the light of brilliant day seems painful to the eyes grown long accustomed to the dim effects perceived at twilight.

* We are used to looking for fault, for sin, for error. We will need to adjust to seeing God and His Innocent Son instead.

And they turn away from sunlight, and the clarity it brings to what they look upon.

Dimness seems better; easier to see, and better recognized.

Somehow, the vague and more obscure seems EASIER to look upon; LESS painful to the eyes than what is wholly clear and unambiguous. (ambiguous: open to more than one interpretation; having a double meaning)

* The only meaning in what the eyes of truth behold is INNOCENCE.

Yet this is NOT what eyes are FOR.

And who can say that he PREFERS the darkness, and maintain he WANTS to see?

* If we insist on seeing another’s faults as punishable we have denied Christ.

* If we refuse to have mercy on each other we have denied Christ.

* If we would crucify ANYONE we have denied the Christ.

* A mistake must be seen as a mistake and seeing our own is the beginning of healing. Denying them by justifying our acts and thoughts of hate only makes us a part of the problem.

* The ego is like a producer of a movie. He takes credit for what is seen, how it is interpreted, who plays what role, backs it up and tears it down if he chooses.

* God declares that ALL have won, and we want to enter THAT arena and allow God’s Presence to ensure it.

* Free stock photo: We are innocent and in the womb of our Father’s MIND and WILL. It is called Heaven where we have been all along.

Till next time, God Bless, debi.
