My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 298 for October 23, 2024. I love You, Father, and I love Your Son.

I love You, Father, and I love Your Son.

* I do. That includes everything that gives me a reason to write something that sounds like a complaint. That is something that I really do not like to do but I must have a way to touch the emotional triggers that allow others to hear what Jesus is trying to tell us.

1. My gratitude permits my love to be accepted without fear.

* Okay, I am a bit unsatisfied with the way that is stated. (see how nicely I said that)

* My gratitude permits GOD, THE ORIGINAL, UNIVERSAL CREATOR, FATHER TO BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT FEAR.

* Again, it is my GRATITUDE for the witness that God IS that removes the fear.

²And thus am I restored to my reality at last.

³All that intruded on my holy (*whole) sight forgiveness takes away.

⁴And I draw near the end of senseless journeys, mad careers, and artificial values.

⁵I accept instead what God establishes as mine, sure that in that alone I will be saved; sure that I go through fear to meet my Love.

* Sure that in what God establishes as mine I will be restored to my senses that God is not separate from me.

2. Father, I come to You today, because I would not follow any way but Yours. ²You are beside me. ³Certain is Your way.

* YES.

⁴And I am grateful for Your holy gifts of certain sanctuary, and escape from everything that would obscure my love for God, my Father and His holy Son.

* That comma after sanctuary seems to enforce the idea that THERE IS SOMETHING TO ESCAPE and that would be an error to read it that way.

* I propose that it was not meant to be “certain sanctuary” but CERTAINTY. Sanctuary suggests a ‘place’ whereas CERTAINTY is VERY DIFFERENT.

* Consider “And I am grateful for Your Gift of CERTAINTY and that I may escape everything that would obscure my love for my Father and the rest of the Body of Christ.

* I understand that I took a lot of liberties with that but do you SEE the difference? It can be HUGE because confidence IS something that comes with the witness of the Father and the Son.

Till next time, God bless, debi.
