My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 291 for October 16, 2024. This is a day of stillness and of peace.

This is a day of stillness and of peace.

* I love how the message is always something that I need and want to hear at this very time. A beautiful reminder that Jesus and Father are so aware of where I am right now!

1. Christ’s vision looks through me today.

* NO. According to Jesus in A Course in Miracles, Christ’s vision is ‘wonky.’ It is delusional, believing in separation from the Original, Universal, Source, Power, Father, and Creator of All That Is.

* I look through GOD’s Vision and since I have come to understand this, which is only recently, I am able to see things that I would rather not and recognize the symptoms of the ego maliciousness at work and not be completely overwhelmed by them. This way I can be a witness to them AND a witness to the fact that they are untrue and cannot interfere with the TRUTH that GOD IS.

²His sight shows me all things forgiven and at peace, and offers this same vision to the world.

* This is something that I believe was either scribal error or intent, even though the ultimate message that all things are forgiven as they have NEVER BEEN BECAUSE GOD IS, God’s Reality ALONE offers the Son PEACE which include this world and all that is or ever could be.

³And I accept this vision in its name, both for myself and for the world as well.

* I accept the witness that GOD IS and that all error is confusion on the part of the Son due to His delusion of belief in separation from God.

⁴What loveliness we look upon today!

* I do, because within I know that ALL will know God once more.

⁵What holiness we see surrounding us!

* What WHOLENESS, UNITY, INDIVISION and EQUALITY we are able to see surrounding us and AS US when we see things through GOD’s EYES.

⁶And it is given us to recognize it is a holiness in which we share; it is the Holiness of God Himself.

2. This day my mind is quiet, to receive the Thoughts You offer me.

²And I accept what comes from You, instead of from myself.

³I do not know the way to You.

⁴But You are wholly certain.

⁵Father, guide Your Son along the quiet path that leads to You.

⁶Let my forgiveness be complete, and let the memory of You return to me.

* This I HAVE WITHIN. Now I seek to bring it into the sphere of form by presenting myself as Father Asks me to, one step at a time.
