My thoughts* on Workbook Lesson 240, for August 27, 2024. Fear is not justified in any form.

Fear is not justified in any form.

* I am finding it titillating but FUN to walk into fear with this “Fear is not justified in any form” understanding.

1. Fear is deception.

* I find that I get to learn it in increments. It does not come all at once. In other words, I am able to walk into one fear in the knowledge of God and the wholly Spirit presents me with a new situation to recognize that I can do the same thing there and my confidence and knowledge expand with each step.

²It attests that you have seen yourself as you could never be, and therefore look upon a world which is impossible.

* Who knew that fear was so powerful or so insidious.

* It reminds me of going into the “Spook House or Laughing House” at the carnivals. I was such a scaredy cat I did not like those things at all!

* Yet what else could the world be? Surely not a thing of turmoil as the Son has envisioned it.

³Not one thing in this world is true.

* This “world of fear” is the meaning here.

⁴It does not matter what the form in which it may appear.

⁵It witnesses but to your own illusions of yourself.

⁶Let us not be deceived today.

⁷We are the Sons of God.

⁸There is no fear in us, for we are each a part of Love Itself.

* FEEL this! Embrace it! We are made of Love and Love is the ONLY thing that could be real.

2. How foolish are our fears!

²Would You allow Your Son to suffer?

³Give us faith today to recognize Your Son, and set him free.

⁴Let us forgive him in Your Name, that we may understand his holiness, and feel the love for him which is Your Own as well.

* Do not take this lesson lightly!

* Do you realize that it is ONLY this understanding that will combat the psychological warfare that will be around the world because it is VERY LIKELY that there are those who feed off of the energy of fear or make a profit out of it.

* Likewise, grief and suffering pay large dividends to the society that we currently live in.

* Think about it. It really seems that we enjoy or empathize with a tale of suffering; it is much more welcome and acceptable around a lunch table at any age than a tale of joy, comfort, or even success.
