My thoughts* on ACIM Workbook Lesson 218, for August 5, 2024. The eyes of the Atonement do not condemn, they liberate.

I am not a body. I am free.

For I am still as God created me.

1. (198) Only my condemnation injures me.

* To see what needs correcting is not to condemn or even to see “wrong.”

* It is to see ERROR by the Witness of the (W)holy Spirit and it IS TO BE CORRECTED.

* What is not of LOVE is NOT of God. The challenge is that ego mentality has taken over love in our minds and convinced us that HATE is LOVE and that God is DEAD or never existed.

* A cult is what my daughter thinks I speak of and because of that, she has no mother except as a shell that she has to put up with. That is a “condemnation” for her from what I understand. And does really well, even through very difficult times. I don’t want to be a “shell.” I do not want to leave that legacy for my children’s children. I want to have psychological freedom because therein no one can enslave me, including myself. I am so contrary to the rest of society’s thinking on this it is not even funny.

* I will be the “shell” and try to be around her when she allows it. I do not wish to force her into anything. I am not going to be a “shell” for a significant other. I have to be seen. I just cannot “fake it” in that situation. There is too much involved and too much deceit required not to mention watching the young placed in bondage instead of the Joy they deserve in Eternal Life.

* Condemnation of others as outside the Body/Wholeness that is Christ is our destruction rather than our FREEDOM.

* I want to claim my place as a part of the Sonship of Christ, and I want to help others recognize this in themselves as well. I want to claim YOUR Freedom and I want you to claim mine as Jesus does for us both.

* I will walk in solitude while in form to testify that this is true. Not that I want that but I will if I must.

²My condemnation keeps my vision dark, and through my sightless eyes I cannot see the vision of my glory.

* Condemnation of the Son of God Whom you are hides the Peace, Happiness, and Joy that God Intends for His Son to exist in Holy Instant by Holy Instant in Heaven and into Eternal Life. How can I support or sustain anything else once I know this truth? How can you?

³Yet today I can behold this glory and be glad.

* AMEN. Even while I see others who do not understand this I have Happiness because I KNOW that they WILL once they are WILLING to Receive it.

⁴I am not a body.

* Perfection in God as His Son ALLOWS for MISTAKES. It needs to be in our walk as well. You are LOVED by God and BY ME and BY YOURSELVES IF YOU WOULD ONLY WAKE UP TO THAT TRUTH!!!

* No, a body is not what I am but I am able to use it, and to speak of God’s Love for His Son through it.
