It is impossible to see two worlds.
* AS REAL.
* To remove this concept from the message DELETES the Holy Spirit, YOU, and GOD, AND EVERYTHING ELSE from existence AND THIS EXACTLY HOW THE COURSE HAS BEEN TAUGHT FOR THE FIRST 45 YEARS on this planet.
* Because the Holy Spirit is exactly Who will show you the two worlds and INTERPRETS HOW you will SEE each of them.
1. Perception is consistent.
* Perception, from what I understand, is going to stay with us for a very long time.
²What you see reflects your thinking.
³And your thinking but reflects your choice of what you want to see.
⁴Your values are determiners of this, for what you value you must want to see, believing what you see is really there.
⁵No one can see a world his mind has not accorded value.
⁶And no one can fail to look upon what he believes he wants.
* I am going to tell you this, though, when you accept the Atonement and the Holy Spirit becomes your eyes and ears you will see an ugly world that the ego=god mentality has put before us and you will NEED TO BEAR WITNESS that this is FALSE and that GOD IS, and separation is an impossibility.
* You might get to do so all alone in the physical because what is REAL is what is in the spiritual realm of God Awareness. This is also where separation has no meaning, unlike the world of ego=god.
2. Yet who can really hate and love at once? ²Who can desire what he does not want to have reality? ³And who can choose to see a world of which he is afraid? ⁴Fear must make blind, for this its weapon is: That which you fear to see you cannot see. ⁵Love and perception thus go hand in hand, but fear obscures in darkness what is there.
* When you walk in God you do not walk in fear. You walk in God. You walk in His Love for ALL of Creation no matter what a tiny portion of Creation BELIEVES to be real.
* That does not mean that it does not hurt. At least I have not found that to be the case. But you know what is real and what is not by the witness of the Holy Spirit.
3. What, then, can fear project upon the world? ²What can be seen in darkness that is real? ³Truth is eclipsed by fear, and what remains is but imagined.
* “…what remains is but imagined.”
⁴Yet what can be real in blind imaginings of panic born? ⁵What would you want that this is shown to you? ⁶What would you wish to keep in such a dream?
4. Fear has made everything you think you see.
* You understand this when you accept the Atonement. You still see the fairy tales that you made up but you know that they are not real.
²All separation, all distinctions, and the multitude of differences you believe make up the world. ³They are not there. ⁴Love’s enemy has made them up. ⁵Yet love can have no enemy, and so they have no cause, no being and no consequence. ⁶They can be valued, but remain unreal. ⁷They can be sought, but they can not be found. ⁸Today we will not seek for them, nor waste this day in seeking what can not be found.
* I choose to REST in the REALITY that is God. Sometimes that means I take a break from humanity and its delusional play acting.
5. It is impossible to see two worlds which have no overlap of any kind. ²Seek for the one; the other disappears. ³But one remains. ⁴They are the range of choice beyond which your decision cannot go. ⁵The real and the unreal are all there are to choose between, and nothing more than these.
* There is something false and lacking in these words. I am sorry but it lacks compassion and a witness of God’s Grace. And NO, I am not trying to put ACIM into Traditional Christian dogma, I am seeking to find the witness of the Holy Spirit in what is printed here because I know that is where the truth lies.
6. Today we will attempt no compromise where none is possible.
* Focus is allowed by the minds of the editors to allow the world to disappear without showing you that you are the Light and the Power within the darkened world to light it up. At least in this lesson so far. It IS IN THE COURSE material (see the REST of the lesson). It has just been hidden under gaslighting statements such as these to show you that you must be stupid and have no power if you cannot make this manifest immediately.
* When certain phrases or sentences are upheld as holding vital truths in themselves (anything besides “God IS”) you risk losing the entire meaning or witness of the experience of existence.
²The world you see is proof you have already made a choice as all-embracing as its opposite. ³What we would learn today is more than just the lesson that you cannot see two worlds. ⁴It also teaches that the one you see is quite consistent from the point of view from which you see it. ⁵It is all a piece because it stems from one emotion, and reflects its source in everything you see.
7. Six times today, in thanks and gratitude, we gladly give five minutes to the thought that ends all compromise and doubt, and go beyond them all as one. ²We will not make a thousand meaningless distinctions, nor attempt to bring with us a little part of unreality, as we devote our minds to finding only what is real.
8. Begin your searching for the other world by asking for a strength beyond your own, and recognizing what it is you seek.
* The “strength beyond you own” is that of God who so many Course students deny.
²You do not want illusions.
³And you come to these five minutes emptying your hands of all the petty treasures of this world.
* The petty treasures are the things that you can HOARD AWAY from everyone else like the miser Scrooge. The experiences of existence ARE TO BE ENJOYED and WITNESSED and CELEBRATED IN THE AWARENESS THAT GOD MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO THE ENTIRE SONSHIP TO HAVE JOY and BLESSINGS WITHOUT NUMBER, WITHOUT COST, and WITHOUT SHAME.
⁴You wait for God to help you, as you say:
⁵It is impossible to see two worlds.
⁶Let me accept the strength God offers me and see no value in this world, that I may find my freedom and deliverance.
9. God will be there.
* YES!!!
²For you have called upon the great unfailing power which will take this giant step with you in gratitude.
³Nor will you fail to see His thanks expressed in tangible perception and in truth.
⁴You will not doubt what you will look upon, for though it is perception, it is not the kind of seeing that your eyes alone have ever seen before.
* God gives you a different perception through the Vision of the Holy Spirit that you accept when you walk in the receptivity of the Atonement with its recognition that God IS and that Creation is His Son Who He LOVES and has given His All to.
⁵And you will know God’s strength upheld you as you made this choice.
10. Dismiss temptation easily today whenever it arises, merely by remembering the limits of your choice.
²The unreal or the real, the false or true is what you see and only what you see.
³Perception is consistent with your choice, and hell or Heaven comes to you as one.
*Amen, though hell can still cause you to weep.
11. Accept a little part of hell as real, and you have damned your eyes and cursed your sight, and what you will behold is hell indeed.
* Ah, and THERE is the phrase “AS REAL” that should have been LEFT in the original statement that was given for this lesson. And I do not care if it was Helen or Bill who left it out or if it was Ken who withdrew it, “AS REAL” is vital to comprehend anything from this lesson.
²Yet the release of Heaven still remains within your range of choice, to take the place of everything that hell would show to you.
³All you need say to any part of hell, whatever form it takes, is simply this:
⁴It is impossible to see two worlds.
* BULL SHIT! I can see that my neighbor has fulfilled the measure of her journey here in body and I can see the contorted emotional suffering that this brings about without the witness that God is perfect in ALL things. I can see the lack of compassion people have as they “make the best of a bad situation” and hide from truths that they do not want to face about themselves and those that they thought they could trust throughout their lives.
* It is possible to see two worlds and KNOW that the one that seems to have form and appearance is FALSE!
⁵I seek my freedom and deliverance, and this is not a part of what I want.
* I do not want any part of the world of ego=god mentality even though I may get to experience a role in the storylines of anyone that I come across and it may FEEL like the hell that I USED to believe was possible.
* NOTHING disturbs the peace within that KNOWS the TRUTH. But tears may fall and my body may convulse in parts or as a whole in emotional response to the NONSENSE it ‘feels’ forced to witness because the Son of God INSISTS on believing that God does not have ALL POWER and that separation or lack is a possibility.
