There is no love but God’s.
* I know that this is real.
* Years ago, I started giving thanks to God for gifts because I could see how I was manipulated by others when I thought they came from them. This served me a great deal. I still said thank you and treated others as I wished to be treated (or tried to, anyway) but I knew that everything good came from God. This may be why I have NO INTENTION of denying Him today when most of those in my realm of existence suggest that I ought to.
* It is interesting ‘coming back into society’ by having a partner. lol.
* I have the understanding that it is God’s Love coming through him that I want and need. I know that God is All That Is real and I have an inner witness of him. I look forward to the day when he knows the God of Life and Expansion and gives up the god of judgment and punishment.
1. Perhaps you think that different kinds of love are possible.
²Perhaps you think there is a kind of love for this, a kind for that; a way of loving one, another way of loving still another.
³Love is one.
⁴It has no separate parts and no degrees; no kinds nor levels, no divergencies and no distinctions.
* I am so grateful for this!
⁵It is like itself, unchanged throughout.
⁶It never alters with a person or a circumstance.
⁷It is the Heart of God, and also of His Son.
* This is NOT the same thing as saying that Love expresses itself the same way all of the time.
2. Love’s meaning is obscure to anyone who thinks that love can change.
* Love is actually the witness of God’s EXISTENCE.
²He does not see that changing love must be impossible.
³And thus he thinks that he can love at times, and hate at other times.
⁴He also thinks that love can be bestowed on one, and yet remain itself although it is withheld from others.
⁵To believe these things of love is not to understand it.
⁶If it could make such distinctions, it would have to judge between the righteous and the sinner, and perceive the Son of God in separate parts.
3. Love cannot judge.
* I understood this as a child of three or four. It took me a long time to understand that others did not get it or see it that way. Thankfully, I have been able to retain this witness over my lifetime, not that I did not have struggles.
²As it is one itself, it looks on all as one.
* And, of course, I bought into the concept of separation though this is probably why when I found the Course I was able to embrace it so fully.
³Its meaning lies in oneness.
* Did you HEAR that? “Its meaning lies in oneness.” Oneness is claimed by understanding LOVE as it ONLY COULD BE.
⁴And it must elude the mind that thinks of it as partial or in part.
* This means that when we see love as partial or in part that we do NOT know Love at ALL.
* When we live from ego and not from the instruction and guidance of the Holy Spirit we chop up our existence and thereby deny it. Therein there is no place for mistakes. ONLY outright offenses and ‘sin.’ This is one of the saddest things about the world of the ego. It can take one who knows the Love of God a long time to see this, and it can be heart-breaking and devastating to the mind once it is understood just how cruel we have been to one another.
⁵There is no love but God’s, and all of love is His.
* THIS ALONE should be reason enough to DESIRE and KNOW GOD.
⁶There is no other principle that rules where love is not.
⁷Love is a law without an opposite.
⁸Its wholeness is the power holding everything as one, the link between the Father and the Son which holds Them both forever as the same.
4. No course whose purpose is to teach you to remember what you really are could fail to emphasize that there can never be a difference in what you really are and what love is.
²Love’s meaning is your own, and shared by God Himself. 
³For what you are is what He is.
⁴There is no love but His, and what He is, is everything there is.
* Read that one again!
⁵There is no limit placed upon Himself, and so are you unlimited as well.
* Now, read this one again!
5. No law the world obeys can help you grasp love’s meaning.
* Not even gravity, lol. That is just the way that it is and it is about time that humanity woke up to this fact.
²What the world believes was made to hide love’s meaning, and to keep it dark and secret.
³There is not one principle the world upholds but violates the truth of what love is, and what you are as well.
6. Seek not within the world to find your Self.
* Talk about “thinking outside of the box!”
²Love is not found in darkness and in death.
³Yet it is perfectly apparent to the eyes that see and ears that hear love’s Voice.
* Love’s Voice is the Holy Spirit.
⁴Today we practice making free your mind of all the laws you think you must obey; of all the limits under which you live, and all the changes that you think are part of human destiny.
* … All the destruction that you believe has to be expressed for God to Prevail.
⁵Today we take the largest single step this course requests in your advance towards its established goal.
7. If you achieve the faintest glimmering of what love means today, you have advanced in distance without measure and in time beyond the count of years to your release.
²Let us together, then, be glad to give some time to God today, and understand there is no better use for time than this.
8. For fifteen minutes twice today escape from every law in which you now believe.
²Open your mind and rest.
³The world that seems to hold you prisoner can be escaped by anyone who does not hold it dear.
* You just have to give up your addiction to it. Your obsession, really.
⁴Withdraw all value you have placed upon its meager offerings and senseless gifts, and let the gift of God replace them all.
* ALL. Your loyalty is not to those who suffer all around you because “You have no business picking yourself off the ground when they are suffering so!”
* And when you GIVE love when someone “deserves it” you are playing god but really just being a little devil!
* Love is given and expressed because Love is All that there IS and IS the God that Bore US INTO EXISTENCE.
* Now, DO NOT confuse sex with LOVE. Although, any form of affection and compassion, including sex, can be an expression of LOVE.
* Sex is an act of lust or ego’s illusion of love which sadly is NOT Love IF GOD IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE PICTURE, or experience.
* I would not be at all surprised if this is not the true cause of erectile dysfunction, dryness, and dementia to tell you the truth! Oh My!
9. Call to your Father, certain that His Voice will answer.
²He Himself has promised this.
³And He Himself will place a spark of truth within your mind wherever you give up a false belief, a dark illusion of your own reality and what love means.
⁴He will shine through your idle thoughts today, and help you understand the truth of love.
* Yes, He will.
⁵In loving gentleness He will abide with you, as you allow His Voice to teach love’s meaning to your clean and open mind.
* You will have a “clean and open mind” when you have released the Son of God from any REALITY in the stories that have been put out throughout time about separation from God.
* Do NOT think this does not mean that there are NOT real consequences in the world of form where separation is required because of someone’s belief that it is okay to harm or neglect another.
* No, Jesus is talking about being aware that the Son of God, and all of its parts throughout time, is INNOCENT and PURE as when He was Created through God at His Original Creation AND the CONTINUED EXPANSION HOLY INSTANT BY HOLY INSTANT in ETERNITY, SINCE THAT BIRTH. This is known within while God continues to direct His Son through the Witness and Whisperings of the Holy Spirit.
⁶And He will bless the lesson with His Love.
10. Today the legion of the future years of waiting for salvation disappears before the timelessness of what you learn.
* YOU are able to witness the experience of Eternal Life/Timelessness NOW, but ONLY in the Witness or Understanding of the Atonement.
²Let us give thanks today that we are spared a future like the past.
*** YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS IF YOU DRAG THE PAST WITH YOU BY HOLDING ANYONE ACCOUNTABLE OR WORTHY OF DAMNATION BECAUSE OF SOME GRIEVANCE THAT YOU REFUSE TO LET GO OF NOW OR INTO THE FUTURE.
* And yes, you can let go of that TODAY and still deal with the ‘story’ of the ego that may involve what appears to be discipline for error, but it will be done from a place of LOVE because YOU KNOW that this is the ONLY TRUTH that there could BE or that YOU would WANT to BE.
³Today we leave the past behind us, nevermore to be remembered.
* The “PAST” is where we thought that the errors and mistakes were real or possible and had to justify or make excuses for them. NOW we can look at the errors and mistakes honestly and say, “Nope, that is NOT going to fly any longer!”
⁴And we raise our eyes upon a different present, where a future dawns unlike the past in every attribute.
11. The world in infancy is newly born.
* Ooh, hear that! The world is born in your awareness of God and the Love that He IS.
²And we will watch it grow in health and strength, to shed its blessing upon all who come to learn to cast aside the world they thought was made in hate to be love’s enemy.
* HERE is the world as it truly is in remembrance of the Father and the Son.
³Now are they all made free, along with us.
⁴Now are they all our brothers in God’s Love.
12. We will remember them throughout the day, because we cannot leave a part of us outside our love if we would know our Self.
²At least three times an hour think of one who makes the journey with you, and who came to learn what you must learn.
³And as he comes to mind, give him this message from your Self:
⁴I bless you, brother, with the Love of God, which I would share with you.
⁵For I would learn the joyous lesson that there is no love but God’s and yours and mine and everyone’s.
* ⁵For I would learn the joyous lesson that there is no love but God’s ~*ALONE ~ *THAT MAY BE EXPRESSED AS ~ and yours and mine and everyone’s.
