1. We are each significant and unique within the Body of Creation/Christ/The Son of God.

Let’s let ourselves express what we see and feel without judgment.

2. The body is not your identity. When it is it becomes an idol, an image that you hold up instead of God.

Think “God First” then take care of the body as an instrument of communication.

The body is a trillion cells working in unison to give existence to a costume in a script.

We would do well to remind its trillion intelligent cells that it is Only Love.

3. Gossip. Labeling. Blaming. Laughing at other’s troubles. Feeling better than others instead of genuinely seeking the welfare and benefit of all is outside the realm of Reality, Love, or God.

Some say that A Course in Miracles has no right and wrong. I disagree.

This is the same Jesus speaking of moral issues regarding our coming out of the darkness of the fearful ego and into the light where the witness and presence of God reside.

The three temptations that Jesus faced after fasting for forty days and nights were: Addiction, abuse of power or hoarding, and depression.

Turning the bread into stone was the first temptation which related to seeing the body as real and our food coming from our own labor. Addiction to the world of form is the way it was given to me some years ago.

Or was it more idol worship where we would offer the god which is the body the fruits of our labors instead of offering them to God, the Father?!!

The latter makes a lot of sense to me today from my study of the Course.

The second temptation was accepting the world of form as having value above the Mind and Will of God. I had called it Power Hunger and today it appears in a more specific form. To see the land or things of this world as the reward of one’s labors RATHER than the Love of God Itself.

The third I had thought of as Depression. To test God by falling off of the tower. When God is the very essence of what you are and His separation from you is a thing that is to be seen as absurd.

Today I still associate it with Depression which I also fully identify as coming from the belief in separation from God.

The Holy Spirit is teaching me things this month of a depth that I had not heretofore considered, and I am not sure that my analogies on the three temptations is correct. I only know that it served a purpose in my reaching greater understanding for a time.

4. Give thanks to God and show compassion and courtesy to one another. Let go of all grievances and live in the moment.

Why would anyone want to live anywhere else?

Yet, this is what we do. Especially when we try to cohabitate or think of ourselves as doing that. I would like to see us get to a place where we could just enjoy each other’s company Holy Instant by Holy Instant.

Doing these readings invites the Holy Spirit to teach me greater things. I am grateful.

Till next time, God bless, debi.
