Hmm. I always give you the latest understanding that I have desiring to lift the Consciousness of Christ according to the Witness of the Holy Spirit within me.

I will post this separately in case she wants to take hers down and repost it refreshed.

“…typically what’s going on is a fantasy desire for the woman to represent …”

I had to give my understanding.

Him. The fella who is looking for the idealized woman is looking for a female clone of himself because as the “god” of his world the only really ideal woman would be the one who clones his thoughts and desires.

Remember that he believes in sin (“special” per the Course’s current interpretation which speaks of this relationship as specialness when it was meant to be sinfulness).

So, he, as the dutiful protector of the family against the world MUST decide all things pertaining to right and wrong and she must be willing to lean in under his wing. She does not even have to agree but she must comply with what he deems best for her to be the ideal woman FOR HIM.

Now, these principles are not so far off from truth except that they give the Son, IE the man or head of house figure, the right to judge when clearly Jesus teaches in A Course in Miracles that it is ONLY the Holy Spirit that has the right to judge. And He judges EACH as innocent and capable to be their own authority in the Mind and Will of God needing to put God as their interpreter to one another that they may be capable of true communion and/or cohabitation.

This would actually apply to all other relationships as well, and not only intimate ones.

Each of us who believe in sin or that God, the Father has no place in our lives or even existence would be found to expect us to be the same as them because intrinsically we do understand that we all are ONE Whole and there really is a god.

One will either believe in sin and a god who must judge and punish or in a Creator who Creates Like Himself and calls IT His Son because He Desires a Relationship of Joy and Ecstasy WITH ANOTHER PART OF HIMSELF.
