My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 60, for February 29, 2024.

These ideas are for today’s review:

1. (46) God is the Love in which I forgive.

* God is ALL That Is, how could I be outside of Him or have love that is NOT of Him?

²God does not forgive because He has never condemned.

* Yet, I MUST forgive truly and completely to release myself from my attachment to the belief in separation from God.

³The blameless cannot blame, and those who have accepted their innocence see nothing to forgive.

* This is the RESULT of accepting the Atonement. NOT the end of the healing that the Christ Consciousness requires.

⁴Yet forgiveness is the means by which I will recognize my innocence.

* Yes, ONLY THIS.

⁵It is the reflection of God’s Love on earth.

* True forgiveness is the reflection of God’s Love on earth.

⁶It will bring me near enough to Heaven that the Love of God can reach down to me and raise me up to Him.

* Do you HEAR this?

* I live here.

* No storyline or twist can deny me Heaven and God’s Love and Presence.

2. (47) God is the strength in which I trust.

²It is not my own strength through which I forgive.

* I do not do the forgiving. I allow the witness of the Holy Spirit that says God and His Son are REAL to do it for me.

³It is through the strength of God in me, which I am remembering as I forgive.

* Acknowledging God is how I release this in its fullest form in my life.

⁴As I begin to see, I recognize His reflection on earth.

* It is a beautiful thing to behold. 😊

⁵I forgive all things because I feel the stirring of His strength in me.

* I do not forgive them one at a time. I forgive the Whole of Christ as I have recognized the existence of the Whole in the Atonement and the Holy Spirit’s witness of His Son.

⁶And I begin to remember the Love I chose to forget, but which has not forgotten me.

* Thank you, Father!

3. (48) There is nothing to fear.

²How safe the world will look to me when I can see it!

* I understand that nothing can truly harm me but this does not mean that I will not be challenged by storylines of separation that are played out in front of me.

³It will not look anything like what I imagine I see now.

* This will come in as we as a collective come to understand and accept the Atonement. NOT necessarily as we walk individually because others have not yet seen the light of the Atonement and God’s Love for His Son.

⁴Everyone and everything I see will lean toward me to bless me. ⁵I will recognize in everyone my dearest Friend. ⁶What could there be to fear in a world that I have forgiven, and that has forgiven me?

* Be careful here. Jesus states that our “ONLY friend” is the Holy Spirit in a nearby lesson. It will be those who live by the Spirit who are “safe” and who would not harm.

* Fear itself will be set aside and a willingness to accept whatever anyone’s story needs to bring upon me settles in because I know regardless of what happens to me that God is my refuge, strength, and safety.

* I know that which brings fear is not real.

* This does not mean that I do not have healthy boundaries or that I allow others to harm me willfully. Suffering is not meant to be a part of the existence of the Son of God.

* Bear in mind that the scribes of the Course did not understand what they were given in these things. Yes, there were glimpses of clarity but their commitment was not to the Holy Spirit as yet.

4. (49) God’s Voice speaks to me all through the day.

* The Holy Spirit is there continually to guide us.

²There is not a moment in which God’s Voice ceases to call on my forgiveness to save me.

³There is not a moment in which His Voice fails to direct my thoughts, guide my actions and lead my feet.

* Even though there are moments when I still stumble and make a mistake in my hearing or seeing of what the Holy Spirit would show me.

⁴I am walking steadily on toward truth.

* Yes.

⁵There is nowhere else I can go, because God’s Voice is the only Voice and the only Guide that has been given to His Son.

* From within. That Voice that says you are worthy of God’s Love as His Son.

5. (50) I am sustained by the Love of God.

²As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love.

³As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see.

⁴As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless.

⁵And as I look upon the world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son.

* Amen, and amen, and so it is.
