My holiness blesses the world.
* My awareness of the WHOLENESS that is God, The Father and His Son, Christ and my part in That Son brings a witness of Truth into a darkened part of the Mind of Christ and expands the Light of Truth, performing a sort of transfusion that will allow The Son to gently move into a more gentle and kinder dream.
1. This idea contains the first glimmerings of your true function in the world, or why you are here. ²Your purpose is to see the world through your own holiness. ³Thus are you and the world blessed together. ⁴No one loses; nothing is taken away from anyone; everyone gains through your holy vision. ⁵It signifies the end of sacrifice because it offers everyone his full due. ⁶And he is entitled to everything because it is his birthright as a Son of God.
* Remember that the scribes to this Course had to count on their own understanding of eternal principles which by their admission they did not have nor had any sincere desire to obtain in terms of searching through the recorded writings of Jesus that were at their disposal. Perhaps it is because they did not trust that they would be able to understand what was written therein or that they bought into the hype that was taught instead of believing they could be taught from within.
2. There is no other way in which the idea of sacrifice can be removed from the world’s thinking.
* You and I are a critical part of Christ’s Recovery of Sanity. Think about that because it is true.
²Any other way of seeing will inevitably demand payment of someone or something.
* That is an interesting statement. Maybe not immediately but eventually will demand payment. Hmm.
³As a result, the perceiver will lose. ⁴Nor will he have any idea why he is losing. ⁵Yet is his wholeness restored to his awareness through your vision. ⁶Your holiness blesses him by asking nothing of him. ⁷Those who see themselves as whole make no demands.
* I love that, yet, be careful how you read it, please.
* It is the asking nothing BECAUSE you know that ONLY love flows between you because that IS what God IS and the ONLY THING THAT COULD BE REAL.
3. Your holiness is the salvation of the world. ²It lets you teach the world that it is one with you, not by preaching to it, not by telling it anything, but merely by your quiet recognition that in your holiness are all things blessed along with you.
* This is almost comical to me. It sounds like it is saying that you do not speak or act in the world at all. That is not so. For you move and speak by the very inspiration of God, Himself through the counsel of the Holy Spirit.
* Yet, it is your witness of the TRUTH that God IS and His Son is completely innocent that allows you to follow that guidance.
* This is what others will feel from you and what will dawn in their memories as well.
4. Today’s four longer exercise periods, each to involve three to five minutes of practice, begin with the repetition of the idea for today, followed by a minute or so of looking about you as you apply the idea to whatever you see:
²My holiness blesses this chair. * ~ wholeness
³My holiness blesses that window. * ~ wholeness
⁴My holiness blesses this body. * ~ wholeness
⁵Then close your eyes and apply the idea to any person who occurs to you, using his name and saying:
⁶My holiness blesses you, [name]. * ~ wholeness
5. You may continue the practice period with your eyes closed; you may open your eyes again and apply the idea for today to your outer world if you so desire; you may alternate between applying the idea to what you see around you and to those who are in your thoughts; or you may use any combination of these two phases of application that you prefer. ²The practice period should conclude with a repetition of the idea with your eyes closed, and another, following immediately, with your eyes open.
6. The shorter exercises consist of repeating the idea as often as you can. ²It is particularly helpful to apply it silently to anyone you meet, using his name as you do so.
* My wholeness blesses you.
³It is essential to use the idea if anyone seems to cause an adverse reaction in you.
* My wholeness blesses him. haha
⁴Offer him the blessing of your holiness immediately, that you may learn to keep it in your own awareness.
* Amen! I want the remembrance that God IS fully on my mind and that I am in HIM as part of the Sonship of Christ.
* Are you concerned because Jesus did not say it in those exact words? This is an issue with attachment to the claim that someone else has the authority to tell you what is truth. Reach inside to that part of you that knows your worth and value, bar none. That part that knows that you belong to God and all that blesses All That Is.
