God is in everything I see because God is in my mind.
* Think about that for a second.
* God is in my mind. DO NOT take this to mean that the two are separate or different. Jesus is only getting us used to the idea that God IS and that means that He is ALL THAT THERE IS OR EVER COULD BE. It is really mind blowing and so different from what the world appears to believe today. These things DO NOT make the Reality different though.
1. The idea for today is the springboard for vision. ²From this idea will the world open up before you, and you will look upon it and see in it what you have never seen before. ³Nor will what you saw before be even faintly visible to you.
* While this may be “instantaneous” for some. Many of us will have it dawn upon us little by little as we walk the walk that is the Atonement. The “undoing” of the belief in separation from God.
2. Today we are trying to use a new kind of “projection.” ²We are not attempting to get rid of what we do not like by seeing it outside.
* Do you hear this? We attempt to get rid of what we think we are capable of by seeing it outside ourselves. Hmm. Radical and counter intuitive! I understand this feeling! This causes me to realize again how important it is that I tell myself that I do not know what anything is for.
³Instead, we are trying to see in the world what is in our minds, and what we want to recognize is there.
* We want to see God in the world and recognize Him, His Power, and blessings, in all that we see. It is like drawing it to ourselves.
⁴Thus, we are trying to join with what we see, rather than keeping it apart from us. ⁵That is the fundamental difference between vision and the way you see.
3. Today’s idea should be applied as often as possible throughout the day. ²Whenever you have a moment or so, repeat it to yourself slowly, looking about you, and trying to realize that the idea applies to everything you do see now, or could see now if it were within the range of your sight.
4. Real vision is not limited to concepts such as “near” and “far.” ²To help you begin to get used to this idea, try to think of things beyond your present range as well as those you can actually see, as you apply today’s idea.
5. Real vision is not only unlimited by space and distance, but it does not depend on the body’s eyes at all.
²The mind is its only source.
³To aid in helping you to become more accustomed to this idea as well, devote several practice periods to applying today’s idea with your eyes closed, using whatever subjects come to mind, and looking within rather than without.
⁴Today’s idea applies equally to both.
* God has been in EVERY INCIDENT and situation that I have come up AGAINST and thought that I had to overcome. Hmm.
* As I allow the Holy Spirit to guide me and eventually walk through me a new “world” will meet me. I cannot force it or rush it or demand that it meet my conscious expectations because God Knows what we have “told ourselves” that we have experienced for eons and lifetimes, here and in other “places.” TRUSTING Him is VITAL to being able to let go of the delusions we have placed ourselves in.
* But we cannot simply demand the scenario we want. My understanding for some time has been that we want to imagine how we would feel IF this were true and God is all that there is or ever could be. What would that feel like?
* I came up with adjectives like safe; . It means “not in danger; free from harm’s reach” and “free from risk; harmless, riskless”2. If you think about it this idea of being safe might take some getting used to if we are not familiar with it.
* Look at the definition. It has the potential to take us out of the mentality of competition which today we think of as “the meaning of life” or “what gives life zest.”
* From our place of mortal understanding we might think of this as boring or at least bland but God knows differently. (I have known many people to express just such an idea and shun association with God because of it.)
* I can assure you that God is anything but bland and boring and that He will reveal Himself to you as you allow Him too.
* Take a slow, deep breath and allow the witness of God to expand in your consciousness just a bit more than it has. Believe me His Presence is euphoric; erotic even. We are not heading into boredom but an existence that is exciting and titillating beyond our wildest dreams.

Till next time, God bless, debi.
PS
* When I think of a lover today, I think of a single form condensing God into one laser beam of energy that I am free to feel safe with and enjoy. Believe me, it IS Heavenly! And sure, old tapes and ego tricks try to distract me but they do not have ANYTHING to do with the REALITY that I know is God and the Holy Spirit helps me to let those “fearful thoughts” evaporate by giving me another way to look at things or simply by showing me that I can let them go because they are not real.
