My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 360 for 26 December 2023. Peace is NOT of the World the Frightened Ego Has Us BELIEVING In

• My thought* = Peace on Earth takes two who know the truth coming together to worship the Father. Won’t you join me?

Peace be to me, the holy Son of God. Peace to my brother, who is one with me. Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.

* Yes.

* Do you hear the “idea” within this statement that says “it takes two?”

* Somehow, God made two out of ONE entity and began creation and expansion in a way that we either have “never known” or gave up “knowledge of” when we decided to accept the possibility of separation and made a “monster” out of that which God deemed “perfect.”

* Let us learn how to DO THIS and LIVE in THIS WITNESS OF TRUTH ~ WITH ANOTHER Person ~ and give THIS WITNESS to the WORLD that it might TAKE NOTICE and BE STILL long enough to DESIRE that FORM of EXISTENCE for itself that it may return from the land of sin and death and remember that NOTHING can exist that is outside of God.

1. Father, it is Your peace that I would give, receiving it of You.

* Oh, if ONLY I could give you the witness that I have of that peace and its REALITY in God!

* THIS IS the One Thing that I would love to deliver to the world? And, you know what? I have, by accepting the True Forgiveness that IS the Atonement that undoes the belief in separation from God.

* I cannot give it to the “frightened ego” world because that world IS NOT REAL. It cannot see nor hear that which is of God because it completely denied HIM. We MUST be willing to give up our “belief” in the world we see WHILE we still “SEEM to see it.” While we pray for those who believe in that which could NEVER be true which is separation from God and LACK of ANYTHING or POSSESSION of anything because God is the Owner and Provider of ALL THAT IS. There can be NO OTHER Ownership or Authority that overrides God.

* I need only stand in witness in my own heart and mind WHILE I seem to exist in the world of the frightened ego. **This is “being in the world and not OF it.”

²I am Your Son, forever just as You created me, for the Great Rays remain forever still and undisturbed within me.

* Yes.

³I would reach to them in silence and in certainty, for nowhere else can certainty be found.

* Yes. Still the mind of the frightened ego or maybe better yet, just observe them and KNOW from within that these things cannot be true because God IS IN CHARGE OF ALL THAT IS and no one is going to make that different no matter how much of a hissy fit they throw or how much blood and death SEEMS to be flying around the consciousness of the Son of God!

⁴Peace be to me, and peace to all the world.

* The “world” is real. The “world” will let go of this fictitious belief in suffering and see itself for what it is as a gift from the Father to the Son.

* Granted we will each have the opportunity to take our suffering to the depths of our being and we should not feel ashamed to “wallow” there as long as we like.

* Nor need those outside us “force us to get on with it.” Indeed, we CANNOT move them from their personal hell because God’s Will does NOT allow that. We can simply be in our JOY and pray for those who hurt in any manner at all. Forgiving all, including ourselves, when we THINK we have stepped on a land mind of pain and suffering. THESE THINGS are an IMPOSSIBILITY in the Mind of God, WHERE YOU (and me) ARE TRULY.

⁵In holiness were we created, and in holiness do we remain.

* Yes.

⁶Your Son is like to You in perfect sinlessness.

* God’s WILL RULES. PERIOD. END OF STORY. Hmm.

⁷And with this thought we gladly say “Amen.”

* AMEN. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
