My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 355 for 21 December 2023. Good Vibes Only

There is no end to all the peace and joy, and all the miracles that I will give, when I accept God’s Word. Why not today?

* “ … that I will give” BY the Power of God as His Son in remembrance of The Father.” YOU are able to accept your role as Christ and bless All That Is thereby.

* Your place in The Atonement can be taken by NO ONE ELSE and that is what this is.

1. Why should I wait, my Father, for the joy You promised me?

* DON’T WAIT.

²For You will keep Your Word You gave Your Son in exile.

* Each part of creation is a part of The Son of God.

³I am sure my treasure waits for me, and I need but reach out my hand to find it.

* I KNOW this to be true.

⁴Even now my fingers touch it. ⁵It is very close. ⁶I need not wait an instant more to be at peace forever.

* I KNOW this to be true. I LIVE IT.

⁷It is You (* God, The Father) I choose, and my Identity (* as a Part of Christ) along with You (* God, The Father).

⁸Your Son would be Himself, and know You as his Father and Creator, and his Love.

* Amen, and so it is.

* Please accept your place in The Atonement and take away thousands** of years of unnecessary suffering.

** This is what Jesus has told us in A Course in Miracles:

6. The miracle minimizes the need for time.

²In the longitudinal or horizontal plane the recognition of the equality of the members of the Sonship appears to involve almost endless time.

³However, the miracle entails a sudden shift from horizontal to vertical perception.

⁴This introduces an interval from which the giver and receiver both emerge farther along in time than they would otherwise have been.

⁵The miracle thus has the unique property of abolishing time to the extent that it renders the interval of time it spans unnecessary.

⁶There is no relationship between the time a miracle takes and the time it covers.

⁷The miracle substitutes for learning that might have taken thousands of years.

⁸It does so by the underlying recognition of perfect equality of giver and receiver on which the miracle rests.

⁹The miracle shortens time by collapsing it, thus eliminating certain intervals within it.
