2nd Universal Reading for December 2023 A Lighter Look at Life Might Be Just What the Doctor Ordered

1. Gatherings

The Holy Spirit really wants me to understand this. (And I will admit that it is something that I truly want to understand.)

The coming together of bodies needs to be done in the Name of the Father and the Son which the Workbook that Jesus gives us in A Course in Miracles identifies as Love.

This is God’s Love we want to come together in because God is ALL THAT THERE IS. That is different, by the way, than saying All That Is is the Son of God or Christ. Confusing, huh? Not really. God IS. Period. Anything outside of His is impossible, that’s all.

NOT the frightened ego’s love because that is actually, hate in disguise.

And DO NOT get all bent out of shape over this!

We have been in a state of confusion for eons!

Can we think that the hate that the frightened ego fed us is going to be gone in a flash?

Well, the truth is that it will be gone in a flash because Time itself is an unreal construct but, it will take some time for us to undo the damage that this has done to our way of thinking and to lean on the Father’s Love which of course IS OURS will be helpful.

This is NOT a religious thing. It is a reality of our existence and our expansion as part of the creation that God, the Father knows as His Son.

At times we will be guided by the Holy Spirit to “look again” at our desire to gather. Have you been shown the “story” that others are living out and your role in THEIR story?

I have come to this place and I know by the witness of the Holy Spirit that I cannot break the caricature that has been made up of me and I do not deserve to be stuck in that role or have to witness the self-torture that they are inflicting on themselves as it feels as if they put me in a glass cage that is three feet thick where I can see and hear them but I cannot communicate with them at all.

Layers and layers of stories get put upon us and there is no getting out of the entanglement of them as they bring on generational attitudes and biases, all the while believing that “I am the cause of all of this heartache because of xyz.”

I cannot do it anymore. I have to wish them well, bless them with every blessing that they are willing to receive, and put real distance between us in this physical world.

I do what I can to keep the door open while keeping myself and them safe.

In reality, I understand that there is no separation, there is no “story,” and there are no layers of brutal misunderstanding and abuse that would tear the heart of the Son of God to shreds if it were true.

2. You are called.

YOU are called to take your place in the Mind of Christ through the TRUE Atonement that is available NOW.

True forgiveness that is the complete and lasting forgiveness of the belief in separation from God is what we are after.

Forgiving the story then becomes a moot point.

Instead of worrying about forgiving the story we would be able to focus on finding solutions to the MISTAKES that are taking place in the lives of the Children of God.

3. First Error

It is the first error that must be forgiven. That which believed that separation from God was a possibility.

This is the core of the Atonement and the Restoration of the Mind of Christ to the Awareness and Presence of God, the Father.

Once this is in place, we are able to look at solutions to the mistakes we have made because of THAT ERROR.

4. Time: Everything is all happening NOW.

That is actually a bit mind-boggling to the human psyche.

How does one function in a sphere where all things are happening now and still function with a linear calendar?

I cannot say that I have all of the answers, but I do understand that this is something that we want to put in the trajectory of our understanding or consideration because IT IS A TRUTH.

This really muddies up the waters when one considers intimate relationships and how they may be interpreted.

Believe it or not, I do suspect that the Holy Spirit wants me to consider this very topic and throw out some ideas. lol, it seems funny as all get out to me! lol

This could explain our “attraction” to multiple individuals at the same time even though we know ourselves to be monogamous (having one partner at a time) in this lifetime. (Could this be one of the reasons why pornography or projecting our affections onto celebrities is such a big deal and makes so much money; for a few anyway?)

Can you think of peculiarities of time for the human/linear existence that may belong to the idea of all time happening in the NOW?

I do believe that INTENT and FOCUS have a lot to do with where we “ARE” in the NOW and that this is something that we want to work on now as we move into the TRUTH of NOW.

At the very least, I suspect that we might want to take our experiences in the realm of Time with a bit more “salt” and realize that God is in all things, and nothing will not be left undone that ought to be done or done that ought not to be.
