Today I let Christ’s vision look upon all things for me and judge them not, but give each one a miracle of love instead.
* Christ was used here because of the context in which the scribe saw the relationship of the Father and the Son. It is actually God’s Vision that, as Christ, we want to look upon all things and not judge them, but to see God’s Love there instead.
* This passage clearly resonates the message that the miracle is LOVE and other Workbook Lessons have told us that LOVE is the Name of the Father which He has bestowed on the Son.
* Even today Course students have a difficult time identifying as the literal Son of God which Jesus clearly states that WE ARE in ALL of the writings of Jesus that I am aware of. Just because his disciples and later historians took him to be saying that he was the ONLY Christ does NOT make it so.
* The virgin birth and the cross are the two “myths” that maintain this false story and promote this tale of separation.
* The virgin birth may well be indicative of the fact that creation does not need to occur through bodies but is a natural result of the existence of Christ, as God’s Son and Expansion. Humans are known for elaborating teachings to go well beyond their intention and manifesting extreme distortions.
* The crucifixion was a common and horrific practice by the Romans in Jerusalem. ANYONE who had been a disciple of Jesus could have been taken as a representative of him and his teachings and crucified. This could well have been the reason that Peter said that he did not know the man on three separate occasions through the night.
* Would your relationship with Jesus change if either of these mythical “truths” turned out to be false? About ten years ago I was asked by the Holy Spirit this very question. I believe that it was around the time that He was to bring A Course in Miracles into my life.
* I had to say “no” my relationship with Jesus would not change because Jesus had been with me since I was a child and watched over me as a big brother and told me I could get through what I needed to. My attempted suicide at 20 when I thought I was not prepared to give my babies the instruction they needed in life found me coming back to consciousness singing at the top of my lungs “Jesus Loves Me” with a courage to continue that was not of the world of fear but of faith.
* Jesus has been and will always be my dear and eternal brother. Even once it occurred to me that he was probably the first to consider the idea of separation from God. God is real and these horror stories we have told ourselves will fade as we allow God to have the place in our lives that ONLY HE CAN FILL.
* This understanding exemplifies “Today I let Christ’s vision look upon all things for me and judge them not, but give each one a miracle of love instead.” In other words, how I LOOK AT THIS is an example of today’s teaching.
1. So would I liberate all things I see, and give to them the freedom that I seek.
* I would GIVE them the FREEDOM that comes FROM BEING a part of the Son of God.
²For thus do I obey the law of love, and give what I would find and make my own.
* This FREEDOM is something that I CHERISH. I have been graced to experience it quite a bit in my lifetime.
³It will be given me, because I have chosen it as the gift I want to give.
* Amen.
⁴Father, Your gifts are mine.
* Thank you, Father. xo
⁵Each one that I accept gives me a miracle to give.
* THIS is a curious statement to me in that with this reading I hear it as “individuals that I see as forgiven (accepted) allows me to grow the Love within me and gives me the ability to receive another and another and another … throughout all Time and beyond. Wow! Thank you, Father!
⁶And giving as I would receive, I learn Your healing miracles belong to me.
* The miracle of restoration to the “Innocence of Creation” which is our birthright as Children of God.
2. Our Father knows our needs.
* Absolutely. He has not left us in any way, even in our darkest deeds and thoughts.
²He gives us grace to meet them all.
* Manifesting our desires begins with acknowledging our NEED of GOD’S Presence in our lives. Then ask yourself what do you want to FEEL like. Welcome, hopeful, cheerful, a part of something bigger than yourself? Seriously, put your own words but make it feelings and not a noun (person, place or thing). Fulfilled, stable, enthusiastic about life, you get the idea. ![]()
³And so we trust in Him to send us miracles to bless the world, and heal our minds as we return to Him.
* As we are happy and comfortable in our own skin “and story?” others will be attracted to the Light that shines forth from or rather through us.
