All gifts I give my brothers are my own.
* As I give God gives me back a hundredfold. In other words, I become aware of blessings in my life.
* I have given away nearly all of my property several times over my lifetime and each time I sent them with a prayer that they bless another’s life I have felt great joy instead of sorrow.
* I suspect this is the principle that applies to how sharing our understanding of the truth today allows the Holy Spirit to enlarge it within our psyches.
1. As every gift my brothers give is mine, so every gift I give belongs to me.
* Another excellent definition of what it means to be ONE.
* Could there be any lack?
* From the Urtext, pg. 420 “If you are joined, how COULD it be that you have private thoughts? And how COULD thoughts that enter into what but SEEMS like your alone, have no effect at all on what is yours? If minds are joined, this IS impossible. No-one can think but for himself (* “but” here means “only”), as God thinks not without His Son. Only were both IN BODIES could this be. Nor could one mind think only for itself, unless the body WERE the mind. For ONLY bodies can be separate, and therefore UNREAL. The home of madness CANNOT be the home of reason. Yet it is easy to LEAVE the home of madness, if you see reason.
²Each one allows a past mistake to go, and leave no shadow on the holy mind my Father loves.
* I am not into hanging onto anything that is negative in my life anymore. I choose only joy.
* As others close to me insist on staying in the ego-mindedness of competition, lack, hate, and fear I distance myself and let them be where they want to be and allow myself the same courtesy.
³His grace is given me in every gift a brother has received throughout all time, and past all time as well.
* It is tough to get past the idea of appetites we have accepted as “being what we are” though, isn’t it? I have been happy “solo” for a long time because of this idea. Once a person appears in the realm of the physical I find myself, I don’t know, griping or second-guessing even though I know that reality is NOT form. It will be something to observe as I allow form to manifest in my proximity. The kind of form that has a mind that can choose fear-based existence or God-based. And what does that mean anyway?
* Sorry folks, I have to present what I understand from the realm of experience in the moment. I am trusting the Holy Spirit that it serves the Whole Sonship and United Consciousness.
* The fact remains that ALL that is experienced from the intent of love is ours. So even when form is vacant THAT truth remains. The WITNESS of this truth is felt by the FEELINGS and KNOWLEDGE that the Holy Spirit sends us continually once we have accepted His Presence through the True Forgiveness of the Son of God for the momentary belief in the possibility of separation from God.
⁴My treasure house is full, and angels watch its open doors that not one gift is lost, and only more are added.
* As I leave or exit environments that are full of negativity physically, or within, I do so with the understanding that the Son of God (me) has all that the Father Is. I also am gaining a greater awareness that this applies to everyone. Including those I would seek to protect.
⁵Let me come to where my treasures are, and enter in where I am truly welcome and at home, among the gifts that God has given me.
* This witness just makes me want to draw closer to God and ask the Holy Spirit to fill me up with this understanding.
2. Father, I would accept Your gifts today.
²I do not recognize them.
* Inside the Atonement they are understood much better yet they are something that we want to see as valuable above all else.
³Yet I trust that You Who gave them will provide the means by which I can behold them, see their worth, and cherish only them as what I want.
