Eternal holiness abides in me.
* No matter what my “outside” circumstances look like, including, body, emotions, economics, education, and so forth.
1. My holiness is far beyond my own ability to understand or know.
* This demands trust because the ego tells us that we have limits, and even if we have accepted the Atonement those thought patterns will not go away on their own usually. They need to be seen and released by our willing that it be so.
²Yet God, my Father, Who created it, acknowledges my holiness as His.
* THIS describes how intimately God is us and how He views us. Remember, what we believe about our creations is real to us. In the case of the Father, ~ AND THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND AND RECOGNIZE HIM AS THIS ~ He knows us because He created us out of (and that is NOT a spatial thing (something that deals with time or space) term here.
³Our Will, together, understands it.
* In the Voice of the Holy Spirit we get in touch with our Will and Higher Self, as well as with
God, the Father.
⁴And Our Will, together, knows that it is so.
2. Father, my holiness is not of me.
* If we feel the urge to insist that it does, THAT comes from the ego which feels threatened for its life. True, it will be tamed, but not erased. It will have the fear that blocks God AND HIS Love from our awareness removed. Nothing more than this. Our individuality and identity IN God remain.
²It is not mine to be destroyed by sin.
³It is not mine to suffer from attack.
⁴Illusions can obscure it, but can not put out its radiance, nor dim its light.
⁵It stands forever perfect and untouched.
* This is our wholeness and our perfection. This is our truth.
⁶In it are all things healed, for they remain as You (*God) created them.
⁷And I can know my holiness.
⁸For Holiness Itself created me, and I can know my Source because it is Your Will that You be known.
