My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 297 for 24 October 2023. Everything that is Real Comes From God

Forgiveness is the only gift I give.

* It really is the ONLY thing that I can give. It is the only reality that I am able to extend at this time. Jesus teaches us that it is the only extension of true love we are able to give in this world. You see everything else either comes from the “story/matrix” and is fake or from God. It is He Who supplies all our needs, wants, and desires because THAT IS HIS JOY.

1. Forgiveness is the only gift I give, because it is the only gift I want.

* It realigns me with God’s Love which is EVERYTHING!

²And everything I give I give myself.

* You can count on the fact that I want this forgiveness for my belief in the impossible (separation from God and His Love).

³This is salvation’s simple formula.

⁴And I, who would be saved, would make it mine, to be the way I live within a world that needs salvation, and that will be saved as I accept Atonement for myself.

* This is literally how we save the world one person at a time!

2. Father, how certain are Your ways; how sure their final outcome, and how faithfully is every step in my salvation set already, and accomplished by Your grace.

* It is truly nothing that we do because even the forgiving is a part of the illusion and confusion. God’s grace is simply assisting us to recall where and Who we truly are by His grace.

* We are still within the dream/illusion and will remain for a while. Recognizing this is a gift of the Holy Spirit.

²Thanks be to You for Your eternal gifts, and thanks to You for my Identity.

* Thanks be to God that I am a part of His Son! And that I have a “witness” of this towards all of creation!
