This is a day of stillness and of peace.
* THIS day that these past several lessons have referred to could only be the day upon which YOU choose to accept the True Complete Forgiveness of All That Is as Christ, the Son of God, and free him from the consequences and guilt of belief in the possibility of separation from God.
1. Christ’s vision looks through me today.
* NOPE. This would be the Holy Spirit. It could only be “Christ” is as much as Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit are considered ONE which is the definition of the TRINITY according to the Catholic Church at the time that A Course in Miracles was being scribed.
* The Catholic Church is the “primary” source that Helen, Bill, and Ken leaned on as “Christian” authority from what I have researched. It was not the ONLY Christian ideology that they were exposed to though.
* This IS pertinent and important to our understanding the Course teachings as they were intended by Jesus, of Nazareth.
²His sight shows me all things forgiven and at peace, and offers this same vision to the world.
* It is the Holy Spirit Who shows us this as the Mind of Christ has a tiny part that is still believing in separation from God. ~ The “higher selves” of all the parts that make up Christ are within the Holy Spirit along with the Voice of God, yet, here again it is important to make this distinction as we navigate the world of form.
* The Holy Spirit DOES in fact see “all things forgiven and at peace.”
³And I accept this vision in its name, both for myself and for the world as well.
⁴What loveliness we look upon today!
⁵What holiness we see surrounding us!
* Whole, Complete, Perfect, Divine IE Holiness.
⁶And it is given us to recognize it is a holiness in which we share; it is the Holiness of God Himself.
* A “holiness in which we share.” It is when this attitude becomes a part of us that war, contention, and strife will end.
2. This day my mind is quiet, to receive the Thoughts You offer me.
* “You” is the Holy Spirit, not Christ, per se’.
²And I accept what comes from You, instead of from myself.
³I do not know the way to You.
* The way to God. I know that purists to the editing of Helen and Bill will not like me saying that but please use “reason and common sense.” Open your minds to embrace the whole of the message within A Course in Miracles.
⁴But You are wholly certain.
* This would apply to both God and the Holy Spirit. NOT to Christ at the moment.
⁵Father, guide Your Son along the quiet path that leads to You.
* This He does through the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
⁶Let my forgiveness be complete, and let the memory of You return to me.
* IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT!
* ONLY in COMPLETE FORGIVENESS of the Son will the true memory of the FATHER return.
* Then we exclaim, “Of course! How could it be any other way?!!!”
