Warning, possible triggers. I struggle with how this was scribed.
Let me forget my brother’s past today.
* The saddest part about the scribing of the Course for me is that the context of “time” is very distorted due to both Helen and Bill being unwilling to acknowledge the Father or the Son.
* EVERYTHING is ERASED from reality in your mind when you accept the True Forgiveness of the Son for the Original Error of belief in the possibility of separation from God. EVERYTHING.
* Then the Holy Spirit takes you by the hand, along with Jesus ~ if you want him there ~ and you “play act” a false existence that aids the healing of the United Consciousness.
* It is THIS complete, absolving forgiveness that is being spoken of in this lesson.
1. This is the thought that leads the way to You, and brings me to my goal.
* It sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? That forgiving our brother for pretty much his entire existence would lead us back to God. And it has been a “catchy” “marketing tool” ~ of distraction ~ for the ego. Because without acknowledging the fact that God created everything and He has the final “say or authority” who can forgive but YOU, AS YOUR EGO?
* You do not forgive anything but the Original Error because THAT is what created the need of time as we understand it today. And in so doing you are forgiving yourself and all that is. THIS is what Jesus has done.
* THEN comes the difficult part of functioning in a world that does not know these things but the gifts of the Spirit; faith, joy, happiness, supersede all that the confusion in the world of form could express.
* * One could think of this state of mind or understanding/knowing as the “New Earth” that Delores Cannon spoke of.
²I cannot come to You without my brother.
* The correction of forgiveness on our part happens on the level of the spirit.
* It has little effect on the world of form EXCEPT that YOU are now a light in the world because of your understanding/acceptance/knowledge of God’s Existence.
³And to know my Source, I first must recognize what You created one with me.
* INVERTED! To know myself or my existence and that of All That Is I must first recognize there is a Source/Creator/God Who acknowledges my existence.
* Ken was never able to find this and he died acknowledging that NOTHING was REAL. That is how A Course in Miracles has been taught for 45 years and it is INCORRECT.
⁴My brother’s is the hand that leads me on the way to You.
* Only in the sense that you unite with All That Is when you acknowledge forgiveness of the Original Error.
⁵His sins are in the past along with mine, and I am saved because the past is gone.
* True that. Accepting the Atonement places you in the mentality and essence of ETERNITY because you are in the Presence of God. You know that you have nothing to fear for the future AND that the past is cleansed of error or God’s Absence.
* This does not mean that you do not live among those who do not understand this as long as you live in the body.
* AND beware the idea that “out of body” you will have all knowledge because you WILL NOT. Not without accepting the undoing Atonement that was prepared before time began.
* You take your personality and biases with you. Your beliefs go with you even though you gain greater access to some of the concepts of existence. Love is often reported. However, a nothingness awaits if that is what you believe.
* Death of the body does not give you all the answers. You may be able to hear or understand the thoughts and confusion of others and assist to some extent but without the Atonement you are still “working blind.”
⁶Let me not cherish it within my heart, or I will lose the way to walk to You.
* Do not cherish or cling to the past with grudges or with the idea that it contains something that you cannot receive here and now in the present.
⁷My brother is my savior.
* NO, NO, NO. I I I I IAM AM AM AM, I am my own savior as I release All That Is from any TRUE or LASTING effects of the belief in separation from God.
⁸Let me not attack the savior You have given me.
* Of course, you do not attack because you walk by the direction of the Holy Spirit. Who does not attack, though from our “human” perspective it may look otherwise. And others may accuse us of attacking.
* The Holy Spirit has understanding that you do not. And it does take some time and observation to transition to allowing Him to speak and act through you. But it is something you will come to trust, in part because you will have no choice to do otherwise.
* You see, your choice was made to trust the path of light and that is where you will travel. The Comforter travels with you. This is the Holy Spirit and leads you through the darkness of the ego-world one step at a time.
⁹But let me honor him who bears Your Name, and so remember that It is my own.
* Remember we discovered that our true name and God’s is LOVE.
* I WILL extend love to those I meet ACCORDING to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and NOT the dictates of society, tradition, and opinion found in the world of flesh and death.
2. Forgive me, then, today.
* Forgive who? Jesus? Others? I suspect this was meant to mean JESUS, of Nazareth, and the spirit/soul that he is and has been throughout creation whom I strongly suspect is responsible for the FIRST consideration of the possibility of separation from God in the first place. Hence him being able to be the first to accept the Atonement and the follow through of the responsibility of sharing it throughout all of creation.
²And you will know you have forgiven me if you behold your brother in the light of holiness.
* You will see them in holiness (purity and wholeness) when you have accepted the undoing forgiveness of the Original Error which was belief in the possibility of separation from God and self.
³He cannot be less holy than can I, and you can not be holier than he.
* We are all pure, perfect, whole, and complete as we were created by God BUT our beliefs have created a world that perpetuates the opposite belief where suffering and pain are that which we seek after and crave.
