My thoughts* on ACIM Urtext Lesson 279 for 6 October 2023. We Are All Free or No One Is. It’s an Inside Job.

Only a witness of a United and Universal Creator sets us free to BE.

Creation’s freedom promises my own.

* Creation is CHRIST: Everything, in all time and space, and beyond. WITHIN the Mind of God.

* To hold others in bondage then chains me as well. Christ’s FREEDOM through the Atonement and the undoing of the belief in separation from God sets us all free throughout time and space, and beyond.

1. The end of dreams is promised me, because God’s Son is not abandoned by His Love.

* The end of the confusion in our current existence is promised us all, because we, AS God’s Son are NOT abandoned by the Love of God which is All That Is and ALL THAT IS.

²Only in dreams is there a time when he appears to be in prison, and awaits a future freedom, if it be at all.

* We do not HAVE to walk in this confusion. Our children and our children’s children DO NOT HAVE TO walk in this confusion.

³Yet in reality his dreams are gone, with truth established in their place.

* We simply want to wake up to this fact.

⁴And now is freedom his already.

* HAVE FAITH IN THIS NOW BECAUSE IT IS THE TRUTH.

⁵Should I wait in chains which have been severed for release, when God is offering me freedom now?

* The first step is the atoning/undoing forgiveness of the belief in the possibility of separation from God.

2. I will accept Your promises today, and give my faith to them.

* FAITH. Believe in what is true that is not YET visible.

²My Father loves the Son Whom He created as His Own.

* This statement embodies a bit more that at first it seems. It is more evident in the following question. Out of His Own Self God created His Son. ~ Granted, this is a bit bigger than the human mind can fathom.

³Would You withhold the gifts You gave to me?

* The Son has the capacity, at least for a time, to reject the witness that He IS the Son of God. These are things (witnesses) that the Holy Spirit gives to you as you walk in the Atonement and your mind becomes cleared of the ego entanglement that has held it in bondage for so long.
